Summary: This past week, I heard the news about the passing of Hugh Hefner. You couldn’t miss it.<br> What I was surprised at was the lack of criticism from the right or the left. Many popular news outlets talked about his life like a happy recap of a Mad Men episode. “Oh that old rascal, Don Draper.”<br> Hugh Hefner was a callous, con man. He created the myth of “the playboy.” A rich man, who lived in his pajamas, worshipped by beautiful women. He sold his myth like Phillip Morris sold the Marlboro Man.<br> It was sex without consequences. Where women give without taking and never grow old.
