(2015-05-31) No Holy Trinity: No Truth, No Love, No Peace

Audio Sancto show

Summary: Sermon titled "No Holy Trinity: No Truth, No Love, No Peace" given on Sunday May 31, 2015. Size: 8.5 MB; duration: 09:15. Theologically, it is a part of Trinitarian Theology that we cannot know the Father without the Son and the Holy Ghost. Technically, it is called innascibility, meaning that the Father is not born, not generated from another or does not process from another. This means the only way we can come to know the Father is through the Son, Who is eternally generated from Him, and from the Holy Ghost, Who proceeds from them both. Thus, it is not possible to have or know God as Father without the Son. This is because Truth in God is between the Father and the Son (the Word of God). What is more, the bond of Love between the Father and the Son is the Holy Ghost. What this means is simply this: if the mystery of the Holy Trinity is denied there will be no Truth and no love that make for authentic peace and concord among men. Instead we will get error, violence, fear, divorce, and perversity of all kinds.
