It can even be instrumental in the prevention of very serious, very deadly diseases. You know you're supposed to exercise as often as you can. For many individuals that means three, four, maybe five times a week. For some individuals, however, "enough exercise" means working out three or four times a day. This extreme exercise can be a problem, and can actually be addictive. So, what if exercise has become something that you have to do for your mental health? That is, what if it becomes so powerful in your daily routine, that you feel you need it to stay sane and functional?
