In this episode of our "Crisis On Infinite Films" series, we take a look at the comic book inspired film, Batman & Robin (1997) . New troubles have arisen in Gotham City. First, there's a new super villain in town: Mr. Freeze, a former doctor whose blood is laced with cryogenic liquid, causing him to be cold in look and feeling who plans to freeze Gotham until he gets the money needed to finish finding the cure for a mysterious disease that has stricken his wife. Second, Poison Ivy, a villainess with luscious lips full of venom, has arrived in Gotham with her hulking servant, Bane, with plans to team up with Freeze and prepare the way for genetically enhanced plants. Third, Ivy has caused a rift between the partnership of the Dark Knight and the Boy Wonder. And finally, Alfred, Batman's trusted butler, has developed the same disease that Freeze's wife has. It is in this time of need that a new partner, Batgirl, steps forward to help the two rid the city of evil once more. In this episode of All2ReelToo we take a look at the Disney + and Marvel Special Presentation, Werewolf by Night . On a dark and somber night, a secret cabal of monster hunters emerge from the shadows and gather at the foreboding Bloodstone Temple following the death of their leader. In a strange and macabre memorial to the leader's life, the attendees are thrust into a mysterious and deadly competition for a powerful relic--a hunt that will ultimately bring them face to face with a dangerous monster. Gael García Bernal as Jack Russell / Werewolf by Night: A monster hunter who has been afflicted with a curse that turns him into a werewolf. Laura Donnelly as Elsa Bloodstone: Ulysses Bloodstone's estranged daughter who dislikes her family's tradition of hunting monsters. Harriet Sansom Harris as Verussa Bloodstone: Ulysses's widow and Elsa's stepmother who leads the secret group of monster hunters. Also appearing as the additional monster hunters are Kirk R. Thatcher as Jovan, Eugenie Bondurant as Azarel, Leonardo Nam as Liorn, and Daniel J. Watts as Barasso. Al Hamacher appears as Billy Swan, the Bloodstones' servant;Carey Jones portrays the swamp creature Ted / Man-Thing, with the special's editor Jeffrey Ford providing additional vocalizations; David Silverman appears as the flaming tuba player; Rick Wasserman narrates the special's opening sequence;and Richard Dixon voices Ulysses Bloodstone, Elsa's deceased monster-hunting father who originally wielded the Bloodstone and has become a talking corpse. Josh Segarra as Augustus "Pug" Pugliese: A member of the legal team at GLK&H, who works with Walters and Ramos. Renée Elise Goldsberry as Mallory Book: A lawyer at GLK&H who is threatened by Walters becoming the new head of the superhuman law division. Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky / Abomination: A Russian-born former officer in the United Kingdom's Royal Marines Commandos who had combined a modified version of the super soldier serum and gamma radiation to transform into a humanoid monster similar to the Hulk following experimental treatment. Benedict Wong as Wong: The Sorcerer Supreme who previously encountered Blonsky.
