On this edition of Quick News Daily where it sounds like I recorded in a convertible with the top down (my apologies, I'll get that fixed for tomorrow), we start getting used to a post-Trump news show. On this shortened week of Quick News Daily, there was still a lot to cover since Donald Trump is, predictably, a sore loser. He started a purge at the Pentagon, brought William Barr back into the mix, and there were talks of states replacing their Biden electors with Trump electors, so I try to calm us all down and reassure everyone that Joe Biden will still be the 46th (or 47th if Trump quits before January) president. For extra reassurance, I added Joe Biden's press conference from earlier in the week (courtesy of NBC News).

On this edition of Quick News Daily, I attempt to bring down the temperature and calm the fears that have grown (rightfully so) over the past 24 hours, partly for my own sanity. I walk through the troubling sequence of events yesterday that, when added up, seem to point to Trump and Bill Barr stealing the election. However, I walk through the facts of the case and the legal possibilities, as well as taking the President-Elect's cue in expressing calm. Then, I revisit the news about Pfizer's COVID vaccine, how significant the 90% efficacy number is, what herd immunity actually is, and the timeline for when this could all be achieved.
