 [HINDI] How To Avoid Impact Of Negative Thoughts Entertained In The Past? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 561

Q: What can we do today about the negative thoughts that we have entertained in the past, the arrows that have been shot, whatever wrong orders that we have placed in the past? Answer: For those orders you are not suppose to do anything directly. At that time right after placing such negative orders (through negative thoughts or saying negative words) you could have said, ‘cancel, cancel, cancel’ to cancel these orders. But now these orders of past are like the arrows which have been shot. But now you can start working on what you want now! At that time there was ignorance. But now, whatever solution you think is applicable for current situation, start working on that. Suppose a bottle of milk is broken, then the actionable thing is to collect and clear pieces of glass to avoid someone getting hurt. The actionable thing is to avoid further damage or repair whatever is possible. This is the actionable thing. Start working on that. Also start giving new orders in your life. If some wrong people have come in your life like, mother in law, daughter in law, husband, wife, neighbors, boss etc… These people have come because you have given orders in the past. People give such orders by watching television. Consider example of a girl watching a television show, while watching that show thoughts run in her mind, if I get such mother in law and she says something like this, I will react in this way. I will teach her a lesson. Same is the thing with a mother of a son who thinks, if I get such daughter in law, I will do this and that to teach her a lesson. They don’t realize these thoughts are the orders they are placing for their future. To watch such TV serials there shall be eligibility criteria. Everyone shall not watch these shows. Likewise there are many sick people who watch news channels. Consider a sick person lying on the bed in hospital with his one leg hung and watching the news… He needs to look at his situation, what these news channels has brought in his life. What more evidence does he wants? At least now he shall start watching something sensible. People who often fall sick or who have habit of getting in the fights shall be more careful with TV shows, what to watch and what not to watch. Because after watching these programs they just give repeat orders which will further attract sickness or situations of fights in their life. They don’t realize this. Whatever are your past orders ignore them. But now you can do something because of which when these old orders will start manifesting in your life you won’t feel their effect or it will be felt very mild. This can be done. Suppose because of your past orders you remain sick today but what is your new order now? Suppose you have poor digestive system, so your new order can be, ‘Now I want my digestive system to be very strong and healthy, now I can digest anything’. What will happen after this new order? If your old orders begins to show their effect you won’t feel it or you will feel little pain or discomfort because you have become so strong. Suppose you are sitting in the meditation and old orders began to show their effect, your body started feeling pain but all these pains reminded you of the experience of self. So what happened? All old orders came and went but you only enjoyed them because you were in meditation. You also took benefit from them. You converted these orders in the ladder of growth. So don’t just keep crying that you gave negative orders in past. If a girl is thinking that she has watched so many TV serials and unconsciously ordered so many negative things and now is worrying about her future life, how it will be after marriage. Then she is just suppose to start ordering correct things now, so even if her old orders manifest she won’t notice them. This is how you will be able to take full benefit of ‘Thought Rules’.

Close your eyes… Ask, 'What am I holding on to in my mind, that I should let them go?…, what are those desires… the time has come to let them go… Ask, 'Is it ok to let go?', 'Can I allow myself to let go of them, be they right or wrong?' See what answer emerges… 'Yes, I can allow to let go.' After letting go of these desires, whatever is truly yours will come back to you and the things which are not yours will get dissolved smoothly, leaving behind peace. So don't hesitate to let go… There is nothing to lose. To gain, there is the whole world, the entire universe… Ask, 'What is it that I don't want to see? A particular color, mess, crying child, fashion which I don't like, others being rewarded in front of me or any such desire which is related to watching'. Now ask yourself, can I let go of these? Can I allow people to wear clothes according to their choice, let them win in their way? The answer will be 'Yes, I can allow; I can let go.' Now tell yourself, 'Let go of these desires'. Close your fist and open it slowly saying 'Let go.., Let go.., Let go..', symbolically releasing these desires. Ask yourself, 'What is it that I don't want to hear?' Harsh voice, someone speaking ill about me, noise, barking dogs… The desire could be very subtle, but identify it. For what does the mind say, 'I cannot listen this.'? Now ask yourself, 'Can I let go of these desires?' The answer will be, 'Yes, I can let go of these desires.' Tell yourself, 'Let go of these desires'. Close your fist and open it slowly saying 'Let go.., Let go.., Let go..' Do the same exercise with – Tastes, Smells, Touch (I like and I dislike, can I let go of both desires?) Do the same exercise with your desires related to work. Desires like, I should accomplish this task, I should not make any mistake, no one should put obstacles in my tasks etc… Then ask yourself, can I allow myself to let go of these desires? The control I seek over everything, the desire that everything should take place as per my planning, can I allow myself to be free from this desire? Can I let go? Remember here that, if you let go; you will be free and your self-expression in the work will improve. You will be able to work better with open mind and open heart… In the absence of inner resistance created by these desires, you will be able to think better and you can explore the best possibilities… Now tell yourself, 'Let go of these desires'. Close your fist and open it slowly saying 'Let go.., Let go.., Let go..' Do the same with your thoughts. Desires like I should not get thoughts of depression, fear, hopelessness, etc… Can I allow myself to feel fear? Can I let go of these desires related to thoughts? Now tell yourself, 'Let go of these desires'. Close your fist and open it slowly saying 'Let go.., Let go.., Let go..' When you let go of these desires, the mind will also let go of the diseases related to these. Because when you keep holding these desires and events take place opposite to them, resistance is felt within body which then creates diseases. Let there be no resistance in the body, let there be free flow everywhere. You need not worry if you let go of any positive desire that you will lose something important. Because, whatever is yours will come back to you multifold… When you let go of all desires, new life will begin from a liberated state. Continue this meditation for some time and open your eyes…

Goal for April: Special Goal: The Three Birds The goal for march is 'Special Feeling'. Understand this through an analogy. You are walking through a maze and the goal is reach the end to come out of it. On your left shoulder is seated a talkative parrot. On your head is seated a wood-pecker. The parrot is constantly chattering and misleading you. It says "Go left... Oh! why did u turn here... now lift the stone." You lift the stone and a snake comes at you. It is symbolic of your talkative mind which constantly clouds your vision with misleading talk based on wrong impressions it has gathered through the years. Then there is the woodpecker on your head which at times pecks your head. This triggers some seat of emotion or pain in your body which inconveniences you greatly. Now the goal of solving the maze is left aside and you are left fighting the trouble caused by the parrot and woodpecker. This is the story of your life. But there is also a Cuckoo seated on your right shoulder. Check whether it has stopped singing because no one is listening. Whenever the parrot chatters or the woodpecker pecks, indicate to the Cuckoo to sing in praise. This song represents Amazement, Happiness and Admiration. So look around in nature to see what is amazing in this experience in the present. Now the parrot stops chattering about the past and the future. It has nothing to say in the present. The feeling of happiness which is independent of any occurrence is always within you. Awaken it. The emotion that had arisen is also temporary and dies away as you observe it without fighting it. Nothing else remains than the admiration of how beautiful everything around is. Your feeling is not 'Ouch' but 'AHA!' (Amazement, Happiness and Admiration).

Power of Happy Thoughts - You Become What You Focus On Only humans have the capability of thinking because of their prowess in language that allows interpretation of thoughts into words and sentences. Animals don’t have that capability. Also, human beings are the only species that can control and regulate breath and thoughts. Animals or any other species cannot do that. Pranayama is used to regulate and control breath, similarly thought rules are a way to regulate and control your life and attract things in your life based on your thoughts. The value/quality of your life, your relationships, events is directly related to the quality of your thoughts. You become what you focus on. Therefore, focus on what you want in your life with a clear understanding of thought rules. The senses that you experience everyday tells you of the presence of life force. Sounds tell you about ears, sights tell you about eyes, smells tell you about nose, taste of tells you about tongue, the sense of touch tells you about body. Similarly, Thoughts tell you that you are alive. Therefore, thoughts are the most valuable gift you have received. Try looking at thoughts as an asset instead of a burden or cause of misery. If you consistently focus on all your senses and thoughts, you are bound to experience the self that is behind the body mind mechanism. The purpose of body and mind is to lead you to that experience of self-realization.

Man thinks there are many problems in his life. But in reality, there is only one problem. To perceive any incident in life as a problem is the only problem. If he solves this problem, his all problems will dissolve. There are 5 secrets hidden in every so called problem. We will remember these five secrets with the help of our five fingers of a hand. 1-Solution (baby finger) – Baby finger smallest finger and it represents correctly the fine nature of the solution which you need to search. ‘Every problem has its solution attached to it’. For example, one day a person lost his horse. He gave the advertisement that whoever finds his horse will be rewarded with 500 bucks. Many people tried but no one could find it. Finally, one boy found that horse. When he was asked, how he could find it he said, he simply thought where would he go if he was a horse. He went there and the horse was present there. See, the solution was in the problem itself. Let’s consider another example, A man with a flat tire of his car was trying to change the tire but while changing all four nuts of the wheel slipped in the gutter along the road. Now he was anxiously thinking how he can solve this problem. A boy was passing by, he stopped and asked what was the matter. That man explained him the situation. The boy said the solution is simple. Use 1 nut from all three remaining wheels and fix the fourth wheel. With 3 nuts a wheel can work, at least till the next service station. See, the car had the problem and the solution was inside the car itself. Those nuts were not brought from outside. Some fruits don’t suit well to some people. The solution to this problem is also in those fruits only. People who know this they know how to eat such fruits, they eat the fruit with peel or they chew its seeds afterward to avoid any problem. So nature has provided a solution to every problem in that problem itself. In Mahabharat, you know Bhishma Pitamaha was a great warrior. The problem in front of Pandawas was how he can be killed. Without defeating him it was not possible to win the war. So what solution did Lord Krishna provided? Lord Krishna said, ask him how he can be killed. When he was asked, he told, he cannot use a weapon against any women. Then Shikhandi was brought to kill him in the chariot of Arjuna… You know these stories. If you can go in shoes of your enemy and understand why he is behaving that way and remove hatred from his heart, he won’t be your enemy anymore. This is also a way to get rid of your enemy. So there is always a solution inside problem itself. 2-Gift (Ring finger): Second secret is a gift. There is always a gift in every problem. A problem comes in your life to deliver that gift. But in the ignorance person can remain in sorrow for a long time. You are not supposed to come across any conclusion immediately when a problem comes in your life. After a period of time when the scene unfolds completely many could see the gift and they say whatever happened in their life it was for the good. 3-Ladder for growth (Middle finger): Problems are like ladders in your life, they are stepping stones or a springboard with the help of which you can reach the peaks of growth and success. Problems compel you to contemplate on life. The problem comes to awaken you. 4-Teaching (Index finger): Every problem is a teacher. The index finger is a reminder of teaching. You also need to understand from problems, what lesson life is trying to teach me with this incident or problem. Everyone needs to learn their lessons on earth. Problems help you learn your lessons. 5-Challenge (Thumb): When you play a game called carom, you never say why am I suppose to play in these two lines only. This limitation or challenge is given to improve your skills. This is what makes the game interesting and brings happiness. Do you ever say why am I suppose to remain inside one body only? why I cannot go out of it? As you accept the limitation of two lines on carom board, you also need to accept the limitations in the form of problems in your life. Handicapped people can accept this limitation as a challenge. And those who don’t have such challenge are supposed to consider this as their responsibility. Because those who get free from their problems, they take responsibility of problems of others. If you could see every problem in your life in this way, then problems in your life won’t remain problems anymore. The one problem of your life will be solved!
