Diplomacy and tact are worthy pursuits. It doesn't harm you to slow down and provide a little thought before spouting off something that could be hurtful to others. Strengthen your resolve to give and receive feedback with grace and graciousness and you will eliminate animosity, find quicker solutions to problems and destructive patterns, see with fresh eyes, and often build stronger more meaningful relationships. www.KarlBimshasConsulting.com --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/karlbimshas/message

It's tempting to slow down over the Summer months. It's also a bad move. Use the time to catch up or surge ahead. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/karlbimshas/message
Lousy leaders come in a variety of shapes and sizes, but the ones I detest the most are those who treat people as if they were disposable. You know the type; usually barrel-chested man-babies, who surround themselves with toys in an effort to inflate their social status. I keep a baker's dozen of empty Wellbutrin bottles in my closet and look at them once in awhile, to remind myself of the 13 months of hellish depression I went through several years ago. 13 months is a blink of the eye that takes place over an eternity. The daily battles were real, unwanted, and not simply thought away with happy platitudes. Depression is conquerable, although your pride will not serve you. You need others. http://www.bimshasconsulting.com/2018/06/13-months/ --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/karlbimshas/message
Encouragement and appreciation or not difficult things for good leaders to express. Lousy leaders however, can't do either unless they see a way it benefits themselves. Don't be that way. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/karlbimshas/message
I have a visceral reaction to leadership that has never let me down. It operates on both extremes of the continuum. There will always be lousy leaders, but great leaders can reduce their destructive destructive influence every day. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/karlbimshas/message
