Welcome back to a Sorta Star Wars Podcast! The podcast that is sort of about Star Wars and sort of about everything else!! Today is all about live-streaming. If you don't know what live-streaming is, you are about to find out!  To introduce my guest, he goes by Limetree online, but by Luke in real life. Luke and I have been friends since high school, and have also spent many many hours playing video games together. About a year and a half ago, Luke decided to start live-streaming his video game playing for others to enjoy. But why would people want to watch someone else play video games and why would you want the world to have access to your playing video games? Like, what's the deal with live-streaming?!? Well, as it turns out, people like watching other people do fun things... kind of like sports... except video games are actually enjoyable to watch (oh snap!). lol. Seriously though, people love watching other people play video games... and lots of other things. Whether you're trying to figure out how to get past a certain checkpoint, or considering buying a game, or you just wanna see someone really good play a certain game, live-streaming can be the place for you.  And as far as a reason to live-stream, other than the fact that you get to play video games.... You can make some extra cash :) And depending on how many people stop in, view, and subscribe to your chanel, you can make some extra EXTRA cash!  All that to say, on this episode we talk about how to live-stream, what Twitch is, how to get into live-streaming, what it costs, what equipment you need.... Big news last week for Star Wars and Disney! New Cassian Andor show announced that will be coming to Disney’s new streaming service {Disney+} next year; and this episode is all about those two things! First off, I didn’t even realize how much I wanted a Cassian Andor show until I found out they were making one. I’m SOO excited for this show! Rogue One is becoming one of my favorite Star Wars movies. Every time I watch it, I love it more; so this show def has my attention. So, I was never a fan of Harry Potter... but that seems to be changing. On this episode we will be discussing being a fan of the Harry Potter franchise and what my feelings/ thoughts were after watching the movies all the way through, listening to some Harry Potter podcasts, and starting to read the books. Mollie joins me this week and we discuss what we like and dislike about the series (I didn't even know she was a Harry Potter fan!)(YAY!) Because of other podcast influences, I decided to watch all the HP movies again. I had watched them years ago, but never really got that into them. I enjoyed them, but once they were done, I didn't give them a second thought. A podcast I started listening to recently is partly about Harry Potter and partly about Star Wars, and I just started listening for the Star Wars stuff, but the HP part got me interested again. It was a totally different experience watching the movies this time because of the knowledge that I had of the series due to that podcast. I definitely have a new appreciation for the books/movies. As I continue to read through the series, I am sure I will be discussing more Harry Potter on this podcast, but my main focus will still be Star Wars. The two biggest mobile phone platforms: iOS( Apple ) and Android. In this episode, we will be talking about both.
