The Blitz with Fred Faour & Friends

To start the third and final hour of the show, the guys are joined by conservationist Cathryn Gabor of Africa 360 to talk about the work that she and her organization are doing in Africa. As the hour continues, Cathryn stays with the guys as they discuss her back story and some of their favorite dog breeds. To close out the show, they get a Bill Belichick story from Cathryn.

In the middle hour of the show, the guys begin by taking a look at some of the most intriguing lines across the NFL. After the opening segment, they discuss some lines across the NHL, NBA, and college football and share some crazy animal stories. They finish out the hour with a ridiculous wedding story on the Zadok Jewelers Gem of the Day.

To start the show, Fred and AJ discuss the Texans trade for Denver WR Demaryius Thomas and some of the other trade deadline moves that happened across the NFL. As the hour rolls on, they talk about Bill O’Brien’s supposed comments on Case Keenum and their NFL power rankings at the midway point of the season. To round out the hour, they urge people to GO VOTE!

In the final hour of the show, the guys start by discussing the favorites to become the new Browns HC and they run through the weekend’s NFL games. As the hour continues, they finish up their analysis of the NFL games before transitioning to college football. They close out the show by finishing up their college football discussion.

To begin the middle hour of the show, the guys discuss the terrible TV ratings for the World Series and some of the potential reasons why. As the hour rolls on, they continue to dissect baseball’s marketing problem and why the sport doesn’t have big stars any more. To round out the hour, they share a story from the tech world on the Zadok Jewelers Gem of the Day.

To kick off another week on The Blitz, Fred, AJ, and Jong recap their weekends, they discuss Jong changing his Twitter handle, and Fred pitches a Canadian TV show to AJ. To close out the hour they are joined by The Bench’s Lance Zierlein to break down the Texans impressive win over the Dolphins last Thursday, toss around some trades they can potentially make to replace Will Fuller, and they discuss the plethora of good QBs the NFL has now.

On the third hour, the guys talk to Gambling Expert RJ Bell. They talk about how the New York Giants appear to be tanking by trading their best defensive player in Damon Harrison and if they should continue to play Saqoun Barkley. With the weekend approaching, the guys also talk about what their plans are as well.

On the second hour of the Blitz, Fred and AJ start off with a preview of each NFL game this week and which lines they want to gamble on, they also go over a list of the ten best quarterbacks under thirty as well.

On the first hour, AJ and Fred recap yesterday's Texans-Dolphins game, after Deshaun returned to form and threw for five touchdown passes yesterday they talk about if this victory makes them the favorite to win the AFC South. With the trade deadline approaching, they also discuss who the texans should trade for as well.

To begin the final hour of the show, the guys are joined by Brad Powers, the lead college football analyst for Pregame.com, to preview this weekend of college football. As the hour rolls on, they share a “short” story on the Zadok Jewelers Gems of the Day and give a little run for Jong’s Comicast podcast. To finish the show, they run down a list of the Top 20 Metallica songs of all time.

To the middle hour of the show, the guys joke around before they are joined by Raphael Esparza from My Bookie to talk about the spread for the Texans game tonight as well as some of their favorite plays for college football this weekend. As the hour continues, they discuss the latest trade proposal to bring Jimmy Butler to Houston, this weekend’s slate of college football action, and why the Rockets aren’t as likable as the other teams in Houston. To close out the hour, they talk about some fun events they would like to do with the listeners.

To kick off a Thursday Night Football edition of The Blitz, Fred and AJ lament the Rockets latest loss. After the opening segment, they are joined by fantasy football guru Chris Harris to discuss some of the better plays in tonight’s Texans game and the weekend ahead. They finish up the hour previewing some of the NFL games this weekend and talking about their preconceived opinions of some teams.

The final hour of the show kicks off by answering some tweets and recapping the first two hours of the show. Then the guys get to some scary movies and rate the top horror movies in time for Halloween. Then the guys talk about Monday Night Raw coming to Houston and give away some tickets to the Dec. 3rd event. And it’s “What are the Odds Wednesday” so the guys take odds questions about everything from college football to pro-wrestling. The crew wrap things up as they always do by looking over celebrity deaths.

The guys start off the second hour talking about some of the bets they’ve placed this year and how their sports betting life is going. Then they pivot to a little NFL conversation and talk about some of the underperforming teams in the league this year. The gang also takes a look at tonight “Brocktoberfest” matchup for the Texans against the Dolphins.  

What are the odds Wednesday kicks off with the guys taking a look at the odds for Raheels 3 point shooting contest set up by MyBookie. The gang is joined by Kerry Brooke to talk about her trip to Boston for the first games of the ALCS and the traveling Houston Fans. Then Fred and AJ look at their picks from the last and upcoming weeks and how Fred’s handicapping is going.
