In this episode Jill and Meredith discuss the role, function and importance of having a dietitian on the eating disorders treatment team. Often times clinicians that are new to the field or perhaps do not work often with eating disorders, do not understand the role and purpose of having a dietitian on the team. Sometimes the thought is "the client just needs a meal plan," when the role and skill level of the dietitian goes way beyond this very basic function.
