Jerrod Maruyama & Mark Brickey celebrate the first year of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disneyland. It was a slow rollout of four years of expectations that were met by many but spurred controversy for others. We look back on this first year and forward to hopefully many more years in the Black Spire Outpost. 

In what has been one of the saddest weekends in many of our lives as Americans, I don't want you to ignore the chaos, heartbreak, and good fight/conversation that I hope you're having. It would be best if you didn't hit stop even though you may be tired and fatigued, but I wanted to give you a place to go when you hit decide to hit pause.  Leave this world behind for 90 minutes, close your eyes, feel the sun of Southern California in June kiss your skin, let your ears hear the sounds, and make your imagination see the sights and sounds of the peaceful town of Radiator Springs, you know the one located in Carborator County.  Join Philander Butler and me, Mark Brickey, as we take a slow ride through one of the fastest towns on Route 66.

Are you ready for the deepest Disneyland For Designers dive yet? Today we walk around the park and look at the details of Walt's favorite land Fantasyland. But we go a little deeper than most, because that's our thing, as look at The Facades of Fantasyland. Recreated in 1983, New Fantasyland took a Renaissance fair and converted it into a European Village where each pocket of the land would be transformed into a unique villagers' house or shop—transforming 5 buildings into a little village protected by the walls of Sleeping Beauty's Castle.
