In this episode, we talk to Kevin Richardson. He's a former standout student-athlete at Stanford University, father of current Cardinal quarterback Jack Richardson, and current college radio broadcaster for San Jose State University football and Cal State Monterey Bay men's basketball. Kevin has a unique perspective on the recruiting process and the current state of college athletics. We focus on the question of whether there's a big difference between athletes today compared with athletes from past generations when it comes to their attitudes and character. We also talk about being the parent of a recruited athlete, his observations of college coaches in his job as a broadcaster and sports parent, and building great programs. Plus, you'll hear him explain why he would only take his toothbrush with him on away game trips as a college football player in the 1980's.
