This week David tells of a lurid dream in which he finds himself destroying an old lack of discipline. He puts an indulgence to death in order that he may draw closer to God. As we begin this new decade what areas of indiscipline in your life will you need to put to death to draw near?

In David's [first ever] message about money we hear how generosity pits us against the plans of the enemy at the outset. The wisdom of the world tells you to hoard, shore up finances and that's how wealth is accumulated. The Kingdom of God speaks the opposite.

Fathers who love their children bring discipline and correction to push them onto a better life. How much more will our Heavenly Father? His Word, His wisdom is for our good. This week's admonition from Proverbs is meant to take time to remember the Word, to spend time in the Word. This is how we live in wisdom.

Wisdom makes its presence clear, it shouts from the town square, beckoning all who would seek her. The beauty of wisdom is the depth, the more you seek, the more you find. This week's message invites you to seek out wisdom and all it would have for your life.

Rushing your seasons is stealing from what God has for you now. We're continuing our series on Wisdom this week with Bethany preaching about savoring the season God has you. Trust Him ad walk in His stride. The sermon closes on a new song she wrote about abiding in His presence.

We continue on our journey with wisdom as we take a look at the first piece of advice wisdom has for us. Wisdom warns against that very act that cost humanity paradise. That sin that divides people and surrounded Christ on the cross.

We come to the conclusion of our years journey through the life of Abraham. The man from Ur has journeyed from comfort to see the seed of a dream realized in his son Isaac. Isaac has been saved from sacrifice, just like we have been saved from sacrifice because of what Jesus did for us. We look forward to the fulfillment to all of God's promises not because of us but because of His faithfulness.

The Angel of the Lord has stayed the hand of Abraham revealing the sacrifice that God provided. The Ram was caught in the thicket of thorns by his horns creating a barbed crown holding him down. God provided what was needed for the sacrifice without cost to Abraham while granting him the fulfillment of the promise.
