Dr. Margaret Rutherford is a psychologist who focuses on learning the various spectrums of depression, specifically depression masked by perfectionism. She has written a novel, Perfectly Hidden Depression, in which she dissects the idea of portraying two realities - one showing perfectionism and one showing sadness and despair. In this podcast episode, we learn from Dr. Rutherford on the different traits seen in “hidden depression” and if there is a light at the end of the tunnel for those who relate with this idea.
