Rudy Sarzo has established himself as a true metal legend with a resume' that includes playing bass for Quiet Riot, Ozzy, Whitesnake, Dio, Queensryche, Blue Oyster Cult, The Guess Who and others. And earlier this week, he announced that he was going back to re-join the band that first brought him fame, Quiet Riot...in accordance with the wishes of late great QR drummer, Frankie Banali. While they formed in 1981, the whole world truly discovered Morris Day & The Time through the 1984 movie classic, Purple Rain. And while Prince and Day's friendship spanned most of their lives, it wasn't without it's highs and lows...but, thankfully, they found peace with each other months before Prince passed away.
