Episode 261:  Has the volatility of the past eight weeks subsided and was a bottom put in?  Maybe.  The S&P500 held its 200dma and has remained above the February 9, 2018 low. Episode 252:  On December 1, 2017 ABC news released a story that former General Michael Flynn would testify that President Donald Trump had directed him to make contact with the Russians during the election.  The markets experienced a flash crash, the Russell2000 dropped more than 2.5% in less than 30 minutes.  Some individual stocks and ETFs were much more volatile.  Overall, the markets quickly recovered and closed out the day relatively flat. Episode 251:  The S&P500 is up 20% since last November’s Presidential election and volatility has been extremely muted with no more than a 3% pullback all year.  The market since 2009 has been extremely resilient, regardless of an Obama or Trump administration.  Over the past 18 months, global markets have also shown growth.
