This is the first in a series highlighting the feature speakers from the Georgia Educational Technology Conference (gaetc.org) which happens to be in Lee and Clint’s backyard of Atlanta, GA. We were very fortunate to talk to Tony Vincent from learninginhand.com/twitter.com/tonyvincent this evening! We cover everything from blooper reels to Drones to Einstein. Our newest #friendoftheshow, Tony talks to us about how he got his starts in the 1990s with a class set of palm pilots. The gang goes on to discuss some of Tony’s favorite tech devices. Tony goes in depth to talk about #Classygraphics, teaching professional development using Google Classroom, and using tools such as Flipgrid for online learning. So last week during the #FloydPLN Twitter chat there was a stranger in the midst. This stranger, Mr. Ryan McLane (@McLane_Ryan on the Twitter) was saying some pretty amazing stuff. During the course of the Twitter chat, Craig Ellison recommended that Ryan and I connect for an in depth conversation on EdTech Rewind! Once again, it's been a while since Lee and Clint have gotten together. The school year across north Georgia is off to a rocking start. Clint is handing out hundreds of Chromebooks and Lee is working to get teachers to Level Up their Classrooms with Google Certification. Speaking of Google (How's that for a smooth transition) this is the third anniversary of Google Classroom! This amazing platform keeps improving upon itself. This summer there were ten amazing releases that the guys breakdown (found at https://goo.gl/sd9jCR) as well as the recent announcement of the #firstdayofclassroom (https://goo.gl/scBVfw). Google has released some quality professional development for those interested in advancing their Google Classroom abilities.
