Show Notes: The legacy of the famous T.V. series THE TWILIGHT ZONE, which first aired on CBS in 1959, has lived on for years, thanks in due to its creator, Rod Serling. The series focused on specific individuals who are thrown into strange and disturbing circumstances, & soon crossing over to The Twilight Zone. Serling would go on to write several episodes of the show as well as introduce each episode along with the show’s memorable theme. In 1994, the Walt Disney Company opened their latest thrill ride at Disney’s MGM Studios in Florida called The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. It was an immediate smash hit, resulting in a T.V. movie about the backstory behind the cursed hotel elevator. Show Notes: Next to Mickey Mouse, the saucy but sweet fairy, Tinker Bell, is considered one of the Disney Company’s most famous icons. Tinker Bell first became a part of the Disney Family with the release of the Walt Disney’s animated film “Peter Pan” on February 5th, 1953. Since then, Tinker Bell has appeared in the 2002 Peter Pan sequel, “Return to Neverland,” received her own fairy franchise that includes many Tinker Bell films, and has been added as a meet-and-greet character in the Disney Parks around the world. But how did Tinker Bell come to be? What *is* her backstory? Show Notes: Starting in 1986, The Walt Disney Company began releasing a new home video series called Disney's Sing-Along Songs. Whether you watched them on VHS or on a laser disc, you couldn’t help but sing along with your favorite Disney songs- from “A Whole New World” to “Under the Sea” and so many others. Some of my favorite Sing-Alongs were the ones where we would get a sneak peek at the latest Disney Park. The last live action Disney Sing-Along was made in 1999, celebrating the opening of a new park called Animal Kingdom.
