Scott McIntyre guests as we review the weekend's J1 Matchday 4. Before that though, we begin the episode by checking in with Gamba Osaka correspondent Jonny Nicol on the already perilous-looking state of Gamba's fixture list after the COVID-19 outbreak at the club, then we ever so briefly round up last Wednesday's Matchday 3 (to 15:26). Scott then climbs aboard and we begin our weekend wrap with Nagoya's third straight 1-0 win, before we have an extended chat about this season's surprise packet Tosu (to 40:00): Are Sagan ACL bound? Next two clashes between teams who won for the first time in midweek - Kashima and Hiroshima drawing in Ibaraki and Yokohama F.Marinos cruising past Urawa, before we move on to ruthlessly efficient champions Kawasaki after their home win over Kashiwa (to 1:05:35). After the break two relegation dogfight six-pointers, that saw Fukuoka come from behind to win at Tokushima and Shonan add to Sendai's misery (to 1:19:50), before we finish with another sound beating for Yokohama FC, this time at the hands of Cerezo Osaka, and the draw between Oita and FC Tokyo.
