D-Nox is an internationally renowned performer, respected by DJs, and clubbers alike for his highly creative, and innovative sets. The style of his DJ sets varies through progressive and tech house while incorporating aspects of techno, and trance. His skill with the turntables, excellent choice of tracks, and unique charisma combine to provide an exceptional experience. Aside from DJing, D-Nox is head of the Sprout and Plastik Park record labels with many of these releases finding their way into the playlists of top-class DJs, such as John Digweed, and Pete Tong, amongst many others. And then of course who can forget his work alongside Frank Beckers, under their D-Nox & Beckers moniker, a name that is synonymous with many of the scene’s classic tracks. The German will be in Australia in the coming weeks for the Enchanted Gardens party in Melbourne, which follows a highly-talked about set at the past Rainbow Serpent Festival. An uncompromising passion for a contemporary, cutting edge sound is what Cid Inc brings to electronic music. Swedish producer Henri aka Cid Inc began his journey into music production in the early 1990s. Based in his home of Sweden, and soon after relocating to Finland, Cid Inc always had an affinity for cutting edge electronics. It’s an enthusiasm that ultimately led him to electronic dance music - and more specifically, house and techno. Henri always aimed for an innovative approach to his studio work and it was that very trait that led to the birth of Mashtronic in 2004. But, it was the formation of Cid Inc in 2008 which really saw his career go into overdrive, a moniker which has seen him release on the world’s best labels, which includes Anjunadeep, Lost & Found, microCastle, Natura Sonoris and, Sudbeat. Not only is his production skill respected, but, his skills as a mastering engineer is sought after by some of the most widely regarded producers, such as Christian Smith, Pig&Dan, Guy J, and Herman Cattaneo. Sydney-based artist Made in Paris is most certainly one of techno’s most promising rising stars. The DJ, producer and record label owner, has earned a sterling reputation in her short spanning career, boasting a resume that holds guest mixes on BBC Radio 1, Mixmag, and Triple J’s Mix Up. A creative visionary in her own right, her original productions released under Motorik! and Unknown Record Label have garnered support from industry icons such as Richie Hawtin and Oliver Schories. Those who have been in and around the dance music scene for any given amount of time, have definitely come across the name of Kasey Taylor. Not only did he compile the second Balance Series compilation, but to date, his career resume is an impressive read, ticking off gigs and residencies at almost every big show and club in his native Melbourne, before he moved to Portugal for a ten-year stint which included shows across the globe.

Now in his 32nd year of DJing, Kasey’s career began in earnest in 1996 when he managed to impress John Digweed during a warm-up set leading him to invite Kasey to play at his monthly Bedrock night at Heaven in London. 

For over two decades Kasey has had the luxury of releasing music on his label ‘Vapour Recordings’, which is 150 releases deep. In 2004 Kasey started eVapour8, the first release going on to become number 1 on the Beatport Techno charts for eight weeks and number 1 on the main charts for a month. After taking some personal time away from the scene and a four-year break from running Vapour Recordings, the label has just been rebranded along with a new website which will be relaunched around mid-2019.

 As if he isn’t busy enough, after moving to Australia in 2013 he started a new label Lo-Fi 45, and it is already showing signs of treading the same successful path of his previous imprints. The label has a focus on new and exciting talent, which sees Taylor taking on more of a mentor role too, by signing promising locals like Lask and Peruw, seeing them sit alongside productions from seasoned producers like Jamie Stevens and Kasey himself. Kasey is currently in the studio whipping up lots of new releases for Vapour Recordings and remixes for Lo-Fi-45. Watch out for new material which should be released very soon.

Kasey’s Vapourized podcast will also be back in 2019 with a rebrand and fresh new look.

 At Rainbow Serpent festival this year Kasey was booked to play on the Market Stage to an appreciative crowd of thousands. Hailing from Melbourne Australia, GMJ is well known in the local & international progressive scene. Solvane's activities are moved by passion. Keeping his style versatile and emotional allowed him to play the big stages around the globe; from Burning Man Festival to Fusion, from European capitals like London, Paris and Istanbul to Australia, Asia and the USA. The connection to his chosen home Berlin is alive and kicking: he not only plays regularly at his Ritter Butzke residence but also has been creating tracks that have been supported by top league acts like Claptone, Kollektiv Turmstraße and Acid Pauli. In 2016 Solvane reached the Top 20 Electronica Charts on Beatport for the first time, and since then his tracks have been consistently honoured with top rankings. We finish the year with a thumping techno mix from one of the rising stars of Melbourne’s thriving melodic techno scene. The Scottish-born Mha Iri has been turning heads with her uncompromising brand of techno which has seen her become a resident and regular at some of the city's best clubs and nights. 2018 could easily be seen as her breakout year, and next year is set to be even bigger with festival bookings including Rainbow Serpent Festival, Where The Wild Things Are and Babylon Festival. On the production front, she is releasing at a rapid pace with releases on niche, scene labels like Six Recordings and Australian-based Recovery Collective.
