Ladies and Gentlemen, I am pleased to announce that at long last, I am BACK to podcasting on a weekly basis. And to kick off the Stephen Kingcast 2.0, I present my review of King and Chizmar's collaboration, a return to your favorite small town (with an appearance from your favorite Walkin' Dude!): Gwendy's Button Box.
At long last, I have finally reached my personal Dark Tower. . .The Dark Tower trailer.
Wow. I didn't know I was going to be as excited as I currently am about the upcoming It adaptation. This week was an incredible week to be a fan of Stephen King. On Tuesday, we were treated to a poster and a tease for a record-smashing trailer that ultimately debuted on Wednesday. Between the incredible poster and the trailer, my expectations for this movie are now very high. In this week's episode, I review this past week and break down WHY this trailer is as effective as it is.
Hello, everyone! In this episode, I review the official first poster of The Dark Tower, discuss the passing of Bernie Wrightson and provide an update on the future of the Stephen Kingcast. This was a spur of the moment recording (because I didn't expect the poster to arrive) so I apologize for the lack of microphone and song intro/outro.
In honor of all of the New Englanders snowed in by Nor'easter Stella, I'm re-releasing my review of The Storm of the Century!
Last night, Constant Readers were surprised with an unannounced teaser revealing a collaboration between Stephen King and JJ Abrams about Maine's most famous fictional small town, Castle Rock. In this episode, I break down what was given to us and examine what it might mean for the show itself.
In this week's episode, I do a deep dive analysis exploring the relationship between The Stand and the Dark Tower. Enjoy!
Welcome back, everyone. Due to the political turmoil in the country, I am re-releasing my reviews of The Stand. Here is the third part of my analysis of Stephen King's analysis.
