Softy and Dick H1 - Howard Schultz is stepping down / Mariners are first in the AL West, 15 games above .500 / Can Cleveland come back? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2391

Howard Schultz is stepping down as the executive chairman at Starbucks. We as Sonics fans decided it would be a good idea to offer our congratulations. You can leave yours by calling 2-6-494-2595 and we'll play them back on the air. The Mariners continue to be red hot. They swept the Rays, are now a game ahead of the Astros in the AL West, and are 15 games over .500. One of the biggest surprises so far this season has been Marco Gonzales. Last year, fans were ready to tear Dipoto apart when he traded away Tyler O'Neil for Gonzales but that trade has worked out pretty well. Cleveland got beaten again last night. Is this the end for Cleveland? Probably not. LeBron is 8-0 in games 3 and 4 in these situations. There's no way this series only goes 4 or 5 games. Dick is pretty sure it'll go 7.

We are live from Jimmy's on First, pre-gaming before the M's game tonight. Game 1 of the NBA Finals was last night, and it was a pretty incredible start to the series. It's hard to root for the Warriors when they continue to act like spoiled 7-year-olds. Keegan Kolesar, former Thunderbird and current Golden Knight, joins us to talk about the Stanley Cup Final, the Vegas' improbable first-year triumph as an organization. The Huskies are 7-to-5 favorites to win the Pac-12 in 2018. Even though we expected them to be favored, these odds are far higher than we expected.

Softy got roasted by hockey guy for referring to the Stanley Cup Final as the Stanley Cup Finals. We all know that guy; the guy that has to make sure you are corrected on every little detail about their sport. Soccer guy is like that, baseball guy is like that. Which sport has the biggest snobs as fans? Mariners lose another game. Let's not all freak out. They're still 11 games over .500 and only a game out of first place in the AL West. Joe Banner took a shot at Brian Schottenheimer on Twitter, but was he right? The Husky game against Auburn is a 12:30 game, but it isn't at home. It's also now listed as a pick'em at some sportsbooks whereas Auburn had been favored just a few weeks ago. Let's be honest, taking Auburn in this situation seems like the obvious play. Noah Dickerson talks to us about his decision to return to Washington for another year of college basketball.

Dick isn't so sure about Tyler Locket. Brandon Marshall also spoke today after it was announced that he was joining the team yesterday. Softy is pretty confident he'll be on the roster in September.
