Dana Rice, MD is a urologist in Fairfax, VA. She trained at George Washington University in DC for both medical school and residency. She has two little girls 4 years old and 18 months. Dana and her husband started on production of the UTI Tracker together late last year. The UTI Tracker mobile app helps patients take control of their healthcare by cataloging daily urinary tract symptoms, medication, and behavioral patterns, and offers personalized tips for UTI prevention.
In this podcast I speak with the amazing and multitalented Dara Kass, MD. Dara is the founder of FeminEM. We discuss work-life balance, and all of Dara’s activities including starting FeminEM, Telemedicine, Medical education and being a living liver donor. As the founder and editor in chief of FemInEM, Dr. Kass has overseen the growth of a site from a content focused blog to a multi-faceted resource for women in our field.
Megan Oxley, MD is a Board Certified Emergency Medicine physician. Her career started in inner city Detroit, then took her to rural Maryland and she now works at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital. Dr. Oxley enjoys the fast pace of the emergency room, getting to know new people, putting patients at ease during a stressful time in their life and enjoys having the ability to make people feel better immediately. She is honored daily to be a part of helping people heal.
Katrina Ubell, MD is a pediatrician turned certified life and weight loss coach. She helps busy women physicians permanently end their weight struggle through coaching and the latest weight loss research. She also hosts the podcast Weight Loss for Busy Physicians.
