Today's Dan Dakich Show was one for the books.  Today was Dan's wheelhouse and the corrupt college basketball coaches set today on a platter for Double D.  Dan addressed the big college basketball corruption news for most of the day.  (30:00 mark)  Mike Chappell of Indy Sports Central stopped by to chat about the Colts first win of the season and if Andrew Luck will be back to practice soon.  Dan went back to discussing the current news in college hoops and the state of college basketball.  (1:51:00 mark)  Former college basketball coach and current ESPN CBB analyst Seth Greenberg joined Double D to discuss corruption in college hoops and if Pitino and Louisville should be done.

Colts win!  Dan Dakich opened today's show talking about the Colts getting a win yesterday, why that was major avoiding the 0-3 start and how Jacoby Brissett has shown to be a pretty good addition to this team at the quarterback position.  (8:45 mark)  Don Fischer of the IU Radio Network dropped by in his normal 12:30 time slot on Mondays to chat about Saturday's win over Georgia Souther, why this team is improving week to week and what to expect this Saturday out of Penn State. Reminder you can hear Inside Indiana Football every Wednesday at 7:05 during the year on our station, 1070 The Fan and FM 107.5.  (32:15 mark)  Rashaan Melvin of the Indianapolis Colts joined Dan Dakich to talk about yesterday's win, his two interceptions and how the team made some big improvements this week.  They also talked about overcoming so much to be in the NFL, playing Bowling Green while Rashaan was in college and why they are looking forward to playing Seattle on Sunday Night Football.  (42:15 mark)  Beth Mowins of NFL on ESPN and NFL on CBS who called Colts/Browns yesterday commented to DD about Jacoby Brissett, Melvin's 2 INT's plus what Beth thought of all the peaceful protesting from Sunday afternoon.  Beth became the first woman in 30 years to call an NFL game, starting with MNF on night one and then Colts/Browns this past Sunday.

Dan Dakich started off today's convo by addressing the Colts, Andrew Luck still not practicing and if he'll be back before week 6.  DD also commented on the way the organization has addressed the inury and if there is a reason Andrew Luck isn't speaking.  The dominate question of the day is, what life rules do you have?  Next, Dan and Kyle had a little debate and it had to do with jeans.  (1:09:00 mark)  Double D invited Kevin Bowen of 1070 The Fan on the program as he does every Friday and today they discussed how the Colts have handled Andrew Luck's injury, when he could be back and if Indianapolis can beat Cleveland on Sunday.

Double D opened up Tuesday's show by discussing why kindness is weakness in coaching is common and not the way to go about your business.  Dan also commented on Gregg Doyel of the Indy Star's column on the Colts and why the Colts have a couple diva WR's.  DD asked the question most of the day, what exactly does chopping wood mean?  (27:30 mark)  Mike Chappell of Indy Sports Central dropped by and see if he could answer DD's question of the day, what exactly does chopping wood mean?  They also commented on why the team is lacking leaders right now.  (44:10 mark)  Kenny Roda The Roadman of Kenny & JT Show 3-7p M-F 1480 WHBC in Cleveland dropped by for an update on the Cleveland Browns, former ND QB DeShone Kizer and what he thought about Kyrie Irving's comments on First Take.  (1:10:35)  Dan Plesac of the MLB Network joined The Dan Dakich Show to talk Cubs and playoffs, what it means to chop wood and who are the top teams heading into the MLB Playoffs.  You can watch Dan on “MLB Tonight” at 10pm, plus MLB Network will exclusively air 2 American League Division Series games this Postseason.

Dan Dakich began this Monday by talking about the Colts being in the position to win yesterday and still not being able to capitalize.  DD talked about the mistakes the team made when it counted the most and why the loss wasn't surprising.  (23:00 mark)  Don Fischer of the IU Radio Network called into the DD Show to talk about the week off, hosting Georgia Southern this Sunday and if a week off helps the team be more prepared.  Reminder you can catch Don Fischer and Coach Tom Allen on Inside Indiana Football Wednesdays at 7:05 on FM 107.5 and 1070 The Fan.  (38:25 mark)  OLB John Simon for the Colts stopped by the show to discuss yesterday's OT loss, what went right and wrong and how they leave it behind them and move on to the next game.  Dan continued to talk Colts and NFL throughout the day and even got into a little boxing at the end of the program.  Producer Kyle was not happy about the draw over the weekend between Canelo and Triple G.

Greg Rakestraw hosted in place of Dan Dakich this afternoon while he had to have a a follow up surgery at 20/20 Institute and GR talked about the Colts and this weekend's home opener versus the Arizona Cardinals.  Next he chatted with 1070 The Fan writer Kevin Bowen about everything Colts this weekend, who will be the starting QB and if Andrew Luck is any closer to returning to football.  Last, Producer Kyle caught up with Nascar driver and South Bend, IN native Ryan Newman and the conversation was a little awkward.  haha. The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series playoff opens at Chicagoland Speedway this Sunday, Sept. 17 at 3 p.m. ET on NBCSN.
