The Kerry Dixon Show - Chelsea v Man Utd | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:31:42

Chelsea legend, Kerry Dixon joins Stamford Chidge to look back at a shambolic performance against Roma in the Champions League this week and look forward to the crunch match against Man Utd on Sunday. Kerry does not hold back on his criticism of the Chelsea player's performance against Roma in a disappointing and shambolic 3-0 defeat. Are the players indifferent at the moment? Is there a lack of leadership in the team and does Kerry have some sympathy for Antonio Conte? Perhaps more important how do Chelsea regain some consistency? Looking ahead to the Man Utd match, how difficult is it to predict which Chelsea will turn up and will they be up for it? Mourinho has a habit of not losing to rivals away from home so will he park the bus or recognise that Chelsea may be there for the taking? Either way it will be a pivotal match in the season and one that both sides will not want to lose. Could a draw be on the cards?  See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

Chelsea legend Kerry Dixon joins Stamford Chidge to discuss the win against Everton in the Carabao Cup; Watford in the Premier League and a look forward to this weekend's match against Bournemouth. Chelsea's youngsters were given a chance to impress in the Carabao Cup against Everton but who impressed Kerry as Chelsea won through to the quarter finals. It was a big win against Watford last weekend as Chelsea got of jail somewhat; but what did Kerry think about much maligned Michy Batshuayi's performance? Looking ahead to Bournemouth this weekend, does Kerry think that N'Golo missing through injury make Chelsea's defence vulnerable? How does he see the match going and will Chelsea pick up all three points?  The Kerry Dixon Show - Chelsea v Watford | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:37:41

Kerry Dixon and Stamford Chidge have their weekly chat about all things Chelsea. Kerry and Chidge look back at a disappointing week for Chelsea with a defeat in the Premier League to Crystal Palace and a draw against Roma in the Champions League, as well as looking forward to this weekend's match against Watford in the Premier League. Kerry discusses the negativity surrounding Chelsea while Chidge points out that Chelsea did not lose, fighting back to get a draw and still sit on top of the group. But a feeling persists that something is not quite right at Chelsea at the moment. Moving on to the defeat to Palace, the commitment and desire of the players is put in to question, but how significant are the losses of Kante and Moses and to what extent have other teams worked Chelsea out. Chelsea need to get back to winning ways against Watford but it  will not be easy with Watford's confidence high having beaten Arsenal last weekend. They have a decent manager and let us not forget that they are in 4th spot with 2 points more than Chelsea in 5th. Kerry and Chidge discuss how they see the match going and ask if we don’t get a win on Saturday is that the title hopes over? Stamford Chidge is joined by Jonathan Kydd, Dan Silver and Mark Worrall as we celebrate the FanCast's 400th Show! Sadly there is little to celebrate in Chelsea's defeat to Crystal Palace on Saturday as a lackluster Blues seemed not to 'want it' as much as lowly Palace. On the show tonight we’ll be asking does Chelsea have a personality crisis. What does Conte have to do to sort it out and is there something going on behind the scenes? In part two we say no Kante no party and claim that the only thing false about the number 9 position is Michy Batshuayi. Will Conte ring the changes and where do we go from here. In part three we look forward to the Champions’ League match against Roma on Wednesday. In part four we have a roundup of the latest Chelsea supporter news and we say thanks for the memories as we celebrate the 400th episode of the Chelsea Fancast.  See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

Kerry looks back to the defeat against Man City and acknowledges that City were the better side but losing Morata early did not help. Charly Musonda hit the headlines this week airing in public his frustration in not being able to break through to the first team. Kerry has some sage advice for the young man. Looking ahead to this Saturday's match against Crystal Palace, Kerry is confident that Chelsea will get back to winning ways while Chidge is worried that Palace's dreadful record this season has to come to an end. With two of our best players out, in Kante and Morata, will Conte put his faith in Batshuayi to lead the line?  See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

 'Raspberry Rippled!' Chelsea FanCast #399 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:57:36

Stamford Chidge, Jonathan Kydd, Joe Tweeds and Tim Rolls look back at an up and down week for Chelsea with a massive win against Atletico Madrid and a disappointing defeat to Man City. On the show tonight we ask does losing Morata to injury reveal Chelsea’s Achilles heel and should Conte have trusted the Bat-Man? In part two we ask were Chelsea really dominated by City? After the exertions against Atletico was it a game too far and why did Conte play Azpilicueta as wing back and not Moses or Zappacosta. We’ll also discuss the newspaper talk about Conte wanting out at the end of the season with Ancelotti being mooted as a possible replacement. Is it all nonsense or is there no smoke without fire? In part three we look back at the superb win against Atletico Madrid last Wednesday. Does this mean Chelsea are back? In part four we have some top emails including a request for a song from Jonathan (yes really!).  See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

The Kerry Dixon Show - Chelsea v Man City | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:31:51

Kerry Dixon and Stamford Chidge look back at the highly impressive wins for Chelsea in the Champions League against Atletico Madrid and Premier League against Stoke and look forward to this weekends match against Man City. Kerry applauds one of the best European nights and performances by Chelsea since 2012 where we tactically out thought and outplayed one of the top sides in Europe. Eden Hazard was the star of the show with a world class display but it was a great team performance. Does Kerry think this has laid down a marker for Chelsea in Europe this season? With a hat-trick against Stoke City last weekend, Alvaro Morata has certainly laid down a marker and Chidge and Kerry discuss the comparisons already being made to Chelsea legend Peter Osgood. Kerry still believes that Morata needs to do it in the big games before his greatness can be assured. Talking of big games, Kerry and Chidge look forward to this weekends match against Man City. Who will Conte pick in a defence that will be tested by City's much vaunted attack? Is the key battle how we shut them out and can we exploit the weaknesses in their defence? What are Kerry and Chidge's predictions for the match?  See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

The Kerry Dixon Show - Stoke City v Chelsea | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:34:01

Stamford Chidge is joined by Chelsea legend Kerry Dixon to look back at the 0-0 draw against Arsenal in the Premier League and the 5-1 defeat of Nottingham Forest in the Caraboa League Cup as well as looking ahead to this Saturday's match against Stoke City. Kerry Dixon casts his view on Luiz's red card and answers the question as to whether Chelsea have become ill-disciplined. Did Conte get the team selection right and was it a point gained or two points dropped against the Gunners? In a comfortable win against Nottingham Forest in the Caraboa League Cup this week Kerry applauds the performances of the youngsters who got their chance and wonders whether Batshuayi is improving having scored his first hat-trick for Chelsea. Looking ahead to Stoke City this Saturday, Kerry acknowledges the traditionally tough nature of this fixture. Will Stoke set out to bully Chelsea and will Chelsea be able to stand up to it? Will Rudiger or Christensen replace Luiz at the back; will Bakayo partner Kante and will Eden Hazard make his first League start of the season? As well as answering these questions Kerry makes his prediction on the likely result for Chelsea.  See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

 Oliver's Army - Chelsea FanCast #397 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:06:29

Stamford Chidge and Jonathan Kydd are joined by 'the smut buddies' Tony Glover and Alex Churchill ('The Girl Who Likes Balls') to look back at frustrating match against Arsenal. It was a frustrating match on Sunday as Chelsea drew with Arsenal. Even more so for Alvaro Morata who got no service and no support from Michael Oliver. While Oliver’s decisions wound up the Chelsea faithful for most of the match, there can be little argument with Luiz’s red card, Chelsea’s third in five matches this season. Will Chelsea’s ill-discipline cost us? Do Arsenal deserve some credit for stifling us and avoiding their usual defeat or should Conte shoulder some of the blame? Ultimately, neither side deserved to win or lose; a point probably suits both. Our disappointment probably has more to do with the fact that we have become somewhat used to giving the Arse a smacking at the Bridge over recent years. On the show tonight we ask whether Michael Oliver was biased, incompetent or just inconsistent and are Chelsea undisciplined and will it cost them. In part two we ask whether Conte got the team selection right. Did we underestimate Arsenal and have they learnt how to play us? In part three we look back at the Champions League game against Qarabag last week and look forward to the League Cup tie against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday and the Premier League match against Stoke next Saturday. In part four we have some top emails Australia, California and Putney!  See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

The Kerry Dixon Show - Chelsea v Arsenal | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:31:22

In association with chelseafan12.com  Memorabilia - Shop - News - Video - Fanzone THE HOME OF THE 12TH MAN! - "THE FAN" Follow ChelseaFan12 on twitter: @Fan12Chelsea Stamford Chidge & Chelsea Legend, Kerry Dixon look back at Chelsea's wins against Leicester and Qarabag this week and look forward to the Arsenal match this Sunday. Kerry heaps praise on Morata who scored his third goal of the season, all from headers, last week against Leicester. It looks like he might just be the real deal. Talking about the  Qarabag game everyone loved the Zappacosta goal but was it a cross or a shot? Christensen impressed but does Batshuayi have work to do in spite of scoring? Good to see Chelsea's Champions' League campaign get off to a good start, especially with Roma and Atletico Madrid drawing. Looking ahead to the Arsenal match do lessons need to be learned from our recent defeats against them and will it affect Conte's game-plan? Will Hazard start against Arsenal and if not will we have enough to beat the Gunners without him? Can Chelsea exploit Arsenal's weakness' in midfield and defence whilst keeping  their attacking threat at bay? We learned this week that Paul Canoville who played in the same Chelsea team as Kerry in the 1980's is currently recovering in intensive care after a major surgery. His friends have launched a GoFundMe campaign to support him in his recovery as he may not be back on his feet for a while. You can donate here: https://www.gofundme.com/paul-canoville-get-well-fund Please help out if you can and if you want to send Paul a message you can send it to us and we’ll pass it on or of course you can send him a message via twitter or facebook.  See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

On the show tonight we applaud another good win and wonder if someone is about to get a hiding – might that be Arsenal next weekend? In part two we talk Bakayoko; Fabregas; Morata; Kante and wonder whether Rudiger’s impressive start at Chelsea might make it hard for Cahill to get his place back? In part three we look forward to the return of Champions League football tomorrow night at Stamford Bridge against new boys Qarabag. And, sadly, we need to pass comment on the furore about the Morata song which has put the supporters in the dock again. In part four we have some top emails as ever read by the mellifluous Jonathan Kydd.  See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
