Dirty Disco Radio 155. Once again i did my best to select the finest tracks in this episode, i really worked out to get you a mix from a wide range of electronic dance music. In Dirty Disco Radio 155 i’m playing you the new EP from Ben Gomori – Ritual on the Alive Recordings label, a remix from Max Lyazgin on Ian Tosel & Arthur M Ft Cotry – Real Love. New Remixes on Moon Boots – Red Sky from Medlar and Kahwe, for a change i’m going to play the Dub Vox Mix from Man Without A Clue Ft Meleka – Bless Her Soul which came out on Defected. And last but not least a very awesome remix on David Bowie – This is not America by Fed Conti. That remix by Fed Conti deserves some special attention. Last week i received the track in my e-mail and unlike a lot of those emails the title track grabbed my since it was a remix on late David Bowie’s – This is not America. Recently a lot remixes on David Bowie tracks came out since he left us. Most of them to be honest were not that special but this one from Fed Conti really suprised me. The thing with sending promo tracks to DJ’s Radio stations etc is that most of the people and whit people i mean, DJ’s Producers and promoters out there, don’t even take the time to see who they are sending their track to, they just grab email addresses from Soundcloud, twitter and all other platforms where they can find addresses from people that are related to music. And then send their track in bulk with hope that somebody will listen to it and a track goes viral in some kind of way. But here is a tip of advice. If you want that the people you are sending your music to show a bit of interest in your emails and music, you need to do the exact same. If you are sending me a techno or rap tune you already lost me. Why? Because you clearly did not took some time to see where you sended your music to. So if you want interest, you need to show interest in the people you are sending your music to, it’s your target audience, so that means the narrower you can get it, the more result you will have in return. Dirty Disco Radio 154. In Dirty Disco Radio 154 i selected tracks from a wide range within the electronic dance music. Like every week i curate tracks that i love and make me move in every single way, tracks that make me feel good, emotional or just simply are very good because they are real dance floor bombs. Once again i dropped all those track in to a 2 hour mix hoping to please and tease you with electronic music. First of all I’m here to play you some fine music to listen and move too, next to we created a platform for talented producers to get their music heard and to promote the dopest music out there made by real passionate producers. The Electronic Dance Music scene has growed into something very big over the last 10 years and it’s a very BIG business nowadays. Where is a big business there is also a lot of junk and people that just are here to profit. We try to keep the quality stuff that is made by people with passion and love for what they do separated from they people that think they can just earn some easy money or profit from somebody else who is working very hard. No matter if it’s music or anything else related to the scene, the people who make music are mostly real passionate about it, here and there you have some DJ’s that use ghost producers but the most people are very real and true. But behind the scene there is so much filth going on, services that try to get you r money to promote your music to thousands of people as they promise but who are all fake. Radio stations that reach out to me because they like my show and they want me to join there station, but to join you need to pay a fee. Crazy thing are happening and these 3 examples are just nothing compare to what more out there. That’s why we here at Dirty Disco Radio try to stay real, and to bring music with passion, from where it all started with in the first place, when i was a young teenager and decided that i wanted to play music for people as a DJ and to curate them the best unheard tracks, create beautiful moments and new emotions. Dirty Disco Radio 149. Brrrr I’m freezing my nuts off, Wherever you are in the world right now here in The Netherlands it’s currently very cold, it’s freezing and therefor I’m glad to be inside the studio with a hot cup of coffee and the heating turned on. Do not get me wrong, i like the winter just as much as i like Summer, every season has it’s own beauty. But since it’s cold outside i need to play us some body warming music so that’s what I’ll do in this episode of Dirty Disco Radio 149. Dirty Disco Radio 147. This is the first official DDR episode on the year 2016, recorded that is. It might be so that you recently listened our recent shows through mixcloud or as a podcast somewhere else. Dirty Disco Radio 147 is recorded on the 4th of January and with this new year a very beautiful time lies ahead of us, i year filled with good music, events and festivals, new artists will rise and a lot of new technology will hit the markets. In the Dirty Disco Podcasts music is our first priority and that we will always keep doing, but next to that we are always looking to see what else is there and can we bring to you this year, the best way to find out is to ask it directly to our listeners since you are the most important element of our podcasts and website. Dirty Disco Radio 144. In this episode of Dirty Disco Radio 144 i’m playing tracks from: Ibeyi, Mark Ronson, Glass Animals, Breakbot, Katy B, Four Tet, Floating Points and many more. If you are a producer I’m always interested in new music that fit’s our radio show, if you feel that your music totally fits in and you want it to be played or a bit of feedback on your music do not hesitate and send us your demo’s. But be aware, if your music does not fit, all we do is pressing to delete button. We expect that there is a mutual interest in what we do. We receive a lot of promo’s every week from people who have never listened to Dirty Disco Radio before and don’t even know what we are about. Those people just find as many email addresses as they can find to send their music to, it sad but it happens and i somehow understand it, but let me give a bit of advice right here, if you want your music out there, do not Spam it across the web and into mailboxes. Put the same effort and energy in finding labels, and publishers as you put into making the music. You will get a lot more respect and listeners if you spend some time finding the right people and channels for your music. Fake Facebook Accounts. What’s up with Facebook the last couple of months? I have been getting a lot friend requests of those fake accounts, you know those accounts created not to long ago and added a lot of friends in just one or two days, with a profile picture of a very fine good looking lady. Well i know we men are very sensitive for this, but I’m the wrong guy for that. Don’t get me wrong i love woman very much but i’m not that easily fooled by those fake Facebook accounts. So if you are into faking and the fake Facebook account business you better stop it, it’s a waste of time and energy. Who is also having a lot of those fake friendship requests?
