We don't tend to be big retro gamers, but that doesn't mean we don't have tons of fond memories tied to retro games. Our personal experience with games from our childhood and adolescence are considered retro games, which is kind of hard to deal with. But we do. For you folks.

Last week, we talked about just how awesome FFXIV was in general, trying to get you to give it a shot if you haven't. This week, we dive deep into the two expansions that have been released over the years and how they affected our enjoyment of the game (it was all positive), and how we experienced the content.
Final Fantasy is one of our favorite series. We play them and replay them, and recently, FFXIV grabbed both of us and sank it's grubby little MMO claws right into us. While neither of us tend to be big MMOers these days, FFXIV has so much going for it that we really can't resist it. FFXIV is in full swing for both of us in the middle of the summer gaming slump. We’ve been playing it pretty much the exclusion to all else for the past few weeks.
