2024 brings in a Jupiter-Uranus conjunction as well as Pluto moving back into Aquarius, and both of these transiting energies activate previous Saturn-Jupiter Great Conjunction degree points – oh my! Saturn and Jupiter were conjunct in May 2000 at 22 and 23 degrees Taurus, which is where transiting Uranus is activating changes, shocks, and quick developments. Saturn and Jupiter were conjunct at 0 to 1 degrees Aquarius in December 2020, and now Pluto moves into that territory to make permanent world changes in 2024 and beyond. Synodic cycles are being triggered, that will be directly related to each of these Great Conjunction points in your chart, as well as in the world at large. The last Taurus eclipse of this cycle is a lunar eclipse at 5 degrees Taurus with a wide conjunction to Jupiter Rx, and Uranus RX at 21 deg adding more emphasis to change, surprises, and accelerated developments. The Sun in Scorpio is at 5 degrees, with conjunctions from Mars and Mercury providing more emphasis to the Scorpio energies that involve shared energies, soul connections, emotional karma, and opportunities for powerful evolution. There is an opportunity to detach and complete from whatever has been emotionally draining and intense for you, as well as to recognize how you can stabilize your core with trust, peace, and love for your journey. It’s a week to go slow, be intentional, and take time for yourself as needed as we experience some cranky and crunchy aspects between personal planets and outer planets. Mercury enters Libra on Oct 4 and is in mutual reception with Venus in Virgo, helping her move through what she doesn’t like so she can focus on what is working better for her now. Mars in Libra moves across the South Node, opposes Eris in Aries, and then squares Pluto in Capricorn before entering Scorpio on October 11. Pluto stations direct at 27 deg Capricorn on October 10, revealing more of what has been hidden and repressed. The first Libra Solar Eclipse since 2005 occurs at 21 degrees Libra in your chart and is a Ring of Fire eclipse with the solar power of the Sun revealing what has been in the shadows and subconscious energy fields of the dark Moon. As the Sun and Moon conjoin, a reset is underway with Libra themes as this eclipse works with the South Node, highlighting what you are completing and moving away from in order to go higher in your standards, relations, and communication skills. Mercury is conjunct the Sun and Moon, but directly opposing Chiron in Aries that asks you to take a beat to be logical and level-headed with what you express so it is not from the Wounded Child perspective. Libra season is coming in strong with the Aries Full Moon on Sept 29 and Venus in Leo energies being re-routed to higher expressions based on what the retrograde brought up for you. One of the main messages of October is “break that cycle”, especially with the 2 eclipses and Venus in Leo now reprogrammed after her retrograde journey. Venus in Leo experiences a Finger of God, or Yod, with Neptune RX and Pluto RX as the month begins, which is a checking in point to what you can see in a new light. Mars, Mercury, and the Sun meet up with the South Node in Libra for the first time since 2005, asking you to look at where you need to clear the air with someone. Mercury is moving fast through Virgo, Libra and into Scorpio, and Mars enters Scorpio this month. Virgo season ends with powerful awareness and revised directions as the Sun trines Pluto RX in Capricorn before moving through the Equinox Portal on September 22. This is the beginning of Libra season and we move into the second half of the astrology year with a focus on energies that we share, offer, and experience with others. Venus in Libra trines Chiron RX in Aries on Sept 23, bringing confidence and strength to what you’ve reprogrammed in your heart. The Sun in Virgo has a cosmic week of connections starting with the Virgo New Moon at 22 degrees on September 14, making a direct trine to Uranus RX in Taurus at 22 deg. Virgo season feels bigger with the Pisces Full Moon closing out August, highlighting where we may be at capacity and feeling full in our own energies. Venus in Leo stations direct at 12 deg on September 3, and Jupiter stations retrograde in Taurus at 15 deg less than 24 hours later. There is an ongoing square between Venus and Jupiter through most of September, amplifying desire and what you want, but it may be out of reach for a bit. Jupiter is working well with Mercury retrograde in Virgo, so there is a benevolent protective energy as Jupiter interacts with both Venus and Mercury right now. A quieter week unfolds as fewer aspects means the energy can be more focused, internal, and even feels slower. Mercury retrograde makes his exact conjunction with the Sun at 13 deg Virgo on Sept 6, and then Mercury moves ‘behind the scenes’ to check out what is really going on that he can now tune into as he journeys behind the Sun.
