My fellow podcaster Dan Delgado graciously has me on HIS show, The Radio Dan Show, to discuss my recent adventures with Tom Green!

Fellow Tom Green superfan Jeremy Bixler who I met at the Donut Prince restaurant in Burbank while we were both responding to a Tweet sound out from the aforementioned Tom Green and I have a quick 2 hour chat about all things Persicope, our favorite comedians and actors but mostly Periscope and podcasts like Joe Rogan and Marc Maron but really mostly about Tom Green!

Dan Delgado could not wait to talk about WTF w/ Marc Maron Ep 573 with Jim Gaffigan! As usual we both agreed that, contrary to TJ Miller's opinion, that the beginning of Marc Maron where he just talks to the microphone is the best part. But this Gaffigan interview was spectacular - we knew we were in for a ride when Jim called Marc out for saying that "jocks" are the "enemy" - Jim Gaffigan said that mentality was "crazy." Whoa, it was an intense episode and we left know no pillow unturned. Both Dan and I think feeding a dog hot sauce is mean, and we both enjoyed watching youtube videos of that. Bonus after singing the praises of Jen Kirkman which Dan is hot to listen to, we went through our Netflix queue of what we've been watching. Anybody seen 'Better Living Through Chemistry' with Sam Rockwell and Olivia Munn/Wilde? It's really good, and Ben Schwartz from Parks and Rec and House of Lies is in it!

Awww yeah! Ep 18 is here and we had to bring Dan Delgado - a new fan favorite - back into the fold. We had a lot of WTF to cover including Mike Judge, Adam Goldberg and the woman with black hair from the movie Heavenly Creatures - Kate Winslet was the other young actress in that great movie. OK, did you know Dan had a podcast about Celebrity Apprentice AND Shark Tank? Neither did me and Lance, who also joined us the entire time. This was a classic WTPFBB love-fest celebrating Paul F. Tompkins, Jen Kirkman and Marc Maron!

Ken Armistead my friend from high school who has lived in Japan for the last decade joins us to discuss I SEEM FUN THE DIARY OF JEN KIRKMAN PODCAST EP 26: SLOW RIDE AND NOT TAKING IT EASY from 11/6/13 as well as WTF W/ MARC MARON EP 439 featuring Seth Meyers, Big Jay Oakerson, Tig Notaro, Trevor Noah & Eddie Izzard. I'm in love with this new long form diary format that Jen Kirkman is doing to perfection, she podcasts while in her pajamas laying in her bed. One of my favorite parts of her podcast is when she pats the bed to prove through the sound that she actually is in her bed. Ken surprisingly felt a little uncomfortable being in this new woman's bedroom, but then fell in love like a normal person. Then we get into this crazy live WTF from the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal where we heard Seth Meyers talk about buying beer, Big Jay Oakerson talk about being touched in a porn shop, Tig Notaro talk about getting CDIF, her mom dying, going through a bad break-up and then getting breast cancer in a 4 month span. It turns out Ken was listening to Tig's podcast the entire time she was going through all that. Ken is a podcast expert. He said he spends 20 hours commuting on trains a week in Japan! So he needs and knows podcasts - and it was amazing to hear his perspective on Tig. The great Marc Maron also speaks to Trevor Noah, who Marc Maron says the comedy world is very excited about - he grew up under apartheid and it was very interesting to hear him talk about it. Finally Eddie Izzard complains about the British monachy saying it sets a bad example for kids. Oh, and look out for a very special call-in guest - you guessed it, Lance Wu calls in to ask Ken a question and do a quick impression of him. In all seriousness, Ken was a very influential friend as far as his personality and general point of view. Episode 10 - double digits! One of my best friends from high school, and hilarious multi-talented DJ/comedian Sam Jack @djlumbajack joins WTPFBB this week to discuss Comedy Bang Bang Episode 253 feat. Jon Daly & Tim Heidecker as well as Sam's suggested podcast, The Bugle Podcast Episode 250 hosted by John Oliver and Andy Zaltzman. (this is an animation Sam and I made together based on his life to give you guys some background on Sam Jack http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EZqz8WtIl9c&feature=share&list=PLE3EDD1FEF160A017 Anyway, it was an INSANE episode of CBB to review, because Jon Daly tore the 4th wall, the curtain and everything else down of the CBB podcast format, delivering world class "anti-comedy" - it was beautiful, but I think Sam got freaked out a little. He said his mind was blown and it was like watching the Pink Floyd animated movie "The Wall" for him. Then we get into The Bugle Podcast, which is awesome to hear two British guys chilling out, or bro-ing out as Scott Aukerman would say, talking to each other, I felt like I was eavesdropping on a special very proper UK conversation. I ask Sam if he's having a mid-life crisis early on, but we stay on point as we're want to do on WTPFBB. We here at WTPFBB are looking forward to getting Sam back on a future episode!

We wrap up the third and final day at the 2nd Annual 2013 Los Angeles Podcasting Festival with Aisha Tyler (at 4 mins) and an epic Randy Sklar shout-out (at 45 mins) - We also spend the episode analyzing the LIVE Sklarbro County episode taped at the podfest featuring Phil Hendie, Steven Seagal and Mark Whalberg (The Italian Job, not the host of Antiques Roadshow). Easter eggs throughout the episode include major insights into mine and Lance's respective psyche's!

Prepare to s your pants as WHAT THE POD F BANG BANG interviews Marc Maron (at 18 mins)Jonah Ray (at 30 mins) Jake Johannsen (at 50 minutes)and Keith & the Girl (at 75 minutes) - wow. OK, so Marc shared a story he had never shared before about finding his podcast "voice" (it involved describing cleaning a pan), we talk to Jonah Ray about the Nerdist - Jake Johannsen might be the nicest guy in the world, I asked him some real silly questions - then Keith and the Girl walk in curious as to what we're up to, and talk to Jake for like 20 minutes about how the hell people make money podcasting - suprise suprise - they do a podcast CRUISE! It don't get much better than this!

Podcasting from Day 2 of the Los Angeles Podcasting festival! We begin post Improv4Humans desperately live-podcasting tweeting Besser and Lapkus. After not recording an awesome interview with Dave Anthony we still touch on our extensive Under the Dome conversaton. Then, at 8:30 we tell Wayne Federman about it - great moment. We follow that stellar banter with Jake freaking Fogelnest! I watched him record his podcast with Andy Richter and Matt Besser, and he was so cool he sat down with me to discuss the industry and what shows he doesn't watch. Also before him, I was lucky enough to get stand-up comedian and LA Podfest organizer Dave Anthony! Wow I really loved our discussion, he noticed after about 10 minutes I wasn't recording, so you'll hear the beginning and aftermath of that. Finally I spoke with Squarespace event planning genius Jessica Kausen who drank and high fived people on Jesse Thorn's (not Nick Thune's) comedy cruise and doesn't own a TV! http://jessicakausen.com/conversions/ People, this Los Angeles Podcast Festival is truly a joy, feels like the Blind Melon bumblebee girl video - everyone here is psyched about podcasting, and making very little money doing it... for now! We take a slight divergence in episode 6 as Lance was in no mood to indulge me in another week of dedicated Comedy Bang Bang listening and talking - to quell my rage at having lost said pleasure I chose the third episode of comedy progeny former prodigy Jake Fogelnest's podcast "The Fogelnest Files" - I really wanted to do his ep #3 from September 2012 because he talks to not the young guy from Hot Tub Time Machine but super-writer Jon Hendren @fart. However Lance thought I meant the third most recent ep of Fogelnests podcast and took notes on his Judah Friedlander episode. We figure this out about 10 minutes in, and it takes us to some very interesting and unexpected places.

We open episode 5 reviewing the podcast "Topics with Michael Ian Black & Michael Showalter" episode "Utopia" from 8/7/13 - I personally felt this was a seminal episode of Topics as I felt Michael Showalter shifted from the role of student to teacher despite Michael Ian Black's resistance. Then we analyze "WTF with Marc Maron" Episode 412 from 8/5/13 that featured Jim Norton, Michael Ian Black, Dom Irrara (pronounced 'eye-rerra' i think though Lance disagrees), Maria Bamford, Todd Barry, Jeneane Garafalo. We also touch on Joe Rogan and Tom Green, which reminds me I should add Tom Green as a tag on this one

Superfan Johnny Mac enters the studio to discuss none other than What The Pod F Bang Bang 3 - Aaron Bilgrad. We then recap John's podcast pick of the week, The Talk Show with John Gruber 49: Mountains of Garbage, which I would call pick of the weak! Just kidding, I liked it near the end especially, but it was no Comedy Bang Bang.

Those guys talked about the songs, and played small bits of them, from the "V" section of their itunes playlist - stellar concept!
