Summary: When we started this venture a few years ago it was intended for aquarium hobbyists and water related topics......But there is more to fish keeping and the hobby, there is a passion for the beauty of life and all that Nature has to offer. So many amazing and beautiful plants and animals are being destroyed at an alarming rate. Habitat destruction taking place non-stop. Conservation, preservation and habitat are of huge interest on our show. We are going to be doing more youth oriented programs and things that we hope will help save all the amazing things that life has to offer.

On Monday June 4th 2012 at 10 pm est,9 pm cst and 7 pm pst Mr.Steve Allen fron the Boston Reef Club and the Boston Aquarium Society will be on the show to discuss setting up a 30 - 40 gallon aquarium for those interested in keeping Clownfish. This show will be full of good information for the beginning clownfish enthusiasts.
On Sunday June 3rd at 10 pm est,9pm cst and 7pm pst in tribute to our dear friend Robert Kudler of METALMANIAXE RADIO,we have scheduled Mr.Steve Allen to discuss lionfish in aquariums and it being an invasive species.

Some discussion will be on keeping Angel fish strains pure through line-breeding as well as out-crossing different strains

On Wednesday May 30th 2012 at 10 pm est,9 pm cst and 7pm pst,the Under The Sea Radio Show in conjunction with the American Killish Association presents a discussion with paleontogist Ken Mckeighen for a talk on the evolution of Killifish.Ken will be discussing where the ancestors of modern day Killifish have evolved throughout time. Please take note of the image here,Fundulus Nevadensis,that inhabited the waterways approximately 40 million years ago.
On Tuesday May 29th 2012 at 10 pm est,9 pm cst and 7 pm pst,Mr.Kellen Weissenbach,a representative of the Premium Fish Food Company,has been scheduled for a discussion about a topic that may contain some"MYTHS" in the tropical fish hobby. Kellen will be discussing the general aspects of matching the right diets for specific aquatic piscene species,the importance of vitamins A,C,D &E for tropical fish and how staple flack foods can actually be a poor choice in regards to a basic diet for aquatic species.
On Monday May 28th at 10 pm est,9 pm cst and 7 pm pst a representative,Sherry Mitchell,from the Potomac Valley Aquarium Society will be on.The discussion will be about the club,meetings,events and other pertinent information regarding this Aquarium Society.
On Sunday May 27th at 3 pm est,2 pm cst and 12 pm pst, Mr.Ken Stanek will be on the show to discuss the proper techniques needed to enter photos for photo contests.
The American Killifish Association was founded in November 1961 and held its first annual national convention in 1962. Mr Bob Wright is an avid aquarium keeper that has specific interest in keeping native species in Eastern Canada. The discussion on the show will primarily be about an introduction to keeping native species as part of the aquarium hobby and knowing what species can be kept where in the country called Canada.
