Today’s show is about the upcoming Valentine’s day and how people are meeting more and more in today’s technology age.  We talk about sites like Match.com and E-Harmony and how people today have a better chance of having a good date versus meeting someone out of the blue. We also have some statistical information from Buzzle.com. After the show we have a conversation we had sitting on the couch and some funny outtakes. Also visit our new store.

In today’s show we discuss internet safety and game-appropriate safety for kids and adults.  Internet safety is important due to the simple fact that there are many kids and young adults that don’t know the true dangers that lurk on the other side of the screen. There are helpful tips provided by companies like Microsoft and even the FBI We also discuss why game rating is important and how you can use the ESRB to make sure your kids are getting the games that are not inappropriately rated for them. Here are some of the sites we visited in research of this show.

The holidays are here and we decided to talk about some tips we found helpful during the holidays, as well as some of our favorite podcasts and podcasters, and a few IPhone apps that are cheap and useful.  Also, a special segment by our own Java Doggy, “Star Wars News and Reviews”. Podcasting and podcasters are all over the world but there are some who really help entertain and educate everyone.  We decided that we wanted to share with you some of our favorite podcasts and who our favorite hosts and cohosts are. Holiday tips are always welcome.  Some may be too late, but some may be just in time.  The holidays seem to be a busy time of year for everyone and we have a few tips that may help you now and next year. We touch on some Apps for the IPhone that have helped us with our daily lives and if you have an IPhone maybe they can help you too. Finally, a surprise for all you Star Wars fans out there; Java Doggy has a segment now called “Star Wars News and Reviews.”  Our own Star Wars walking encyclopedia, Java Doggy, is going to share with you some of his discoveries and review his findings with you. I was in the park with a few friends earlier this year and we came across this group. They were having fun battling each other in middle age armor and wears. We were able to get a small interview with three gentlemen in this group. here is the show now and we hope you enjoy it. EvilDragonGeek discusses his find of the Samsung Amoled, a flexible monitor screen.  JavaDoggy covers the new Cybertecture Mirror, reminiscent of the early bathroom scene in “Total Recall”; the XOS2, or Ironman-like suit, being developed and tested by Raytheon; and the Philips Lumalive, the light-emitting textiles (fabric that displays patterns of light).  ProfessorNinja tackles the new frontier of robot development, including robots learning to imitate human emotions, robots learning human pain thresholds, and robots learning to deceive humans and other intelligent lifeforms, and the possibility of a one-way trip to colonize Mars, also reminiscent of “Total Recall”.
