The Podcast of Oa: A Green Lantern Podcast

Phil Bova and Myron Rumsey team up for episode 149 of The Podcast of Oa. The finale of The Green Lantern is the feature comic book conversation.  Myron then talks about the Green Lantern statues on display at this year's New York Comic-Con before he and Phil talk about DC's new timeline and observations about how the Green Lantern universe fits into it.  Phil and Myron also talk about the recent "Generation 5" rumors before sharing an iTunes review.

Two retro-reviews are the focus of episode 146 of The Podcast of Oa.  Co-hosts Myron Rumsey and Phil Bova start the episode talking about some Green Lantern news and Myron shares his experience at Connecticut's Terrificon earlier in August.  The conversation shifts to talking about 1963's Green Lantern issue 24.  Phil then jumps forward to the year 1990 with his review of Green Lantern #1, a book that helped kickstart the franchise.

Podcast of Oa Episode 140 focuses on a couple of retro reviews that highlight the origins of two Green Lantern opponents.  First Phil Bova talks about Hank Henshaw and the tragic event which turned him into Cyborg Superman.  Myron takes us back to 1964 with the character original Silver Age debut.  Myron talks about the recent release of the Worlds Finest Collection Green Lantern box and the two co-hosts respond to recent listener feedback.
