She has also worked in a residential drug and alcohol facility specializing in the holistic treatment of dual diagnosis and the treatment-resistant addict. Dr. Chavez completed her Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the Institute for Sexual Health in Beverly Hills, California where she worked with individuals and couples dealing with sexual compulsivity and issues regarding sexual health. She provided treatment for intensive outpatient programs as well as launching a program specific to women’s sexual health including tracks for female sexual compulsive behavior and female sexual dysfunctions.
