 Be Holy | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 48:48

Speaker: Matt Morton, Location: Grace Bible Church Creekside Scripture: Leviticus 17-26, Series: Kingdom of Priests, Series Order: 10 What comes to your mind when you hear the word "holy"? If you're like most people, you probably think of words like, "boring" and "self-righteous." The Bible tells us, though, that holiness is anything but boring, and it is definitely not self-righteous. Instead, holiness means that we are reserved for a special purpose, to know and to represent the character of God. Nothing could be more important, and nothing is more difficult to do! How can we be holy people when the world around us, and even our own hearts, are full of sin and rebellion? Slides and notes available at www.grace-bible.org

The Rhythm of Worship | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 52:33

Speaker: Brian Fisher, Location: Grace Bible Church Anderson Scripture: Leviticus 23, Series: Kingdom of Priests, Series Order: 08 God gave Israel a rhythm for worship - daily, weekly, annually and generationally - because all of life is intended for worship. We get out of rhythm when we listen to another song - life is food, or houses, or career, or sex, etc. We get back in rhythm when we consciously, actively seek to praise God through all that we say, do, think and feel because He is worthy of our entire lives.  Make Us a God | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 45:42

Speaker: Matt Morton, Location: Grace Bible Church Creekside Scripture: Exodus 32-34, Series: Kingdom of Priests, Series Order: 07 All of us are tempted to make God in our image. We want a God that we can control, one who will always approve of our actions and give us whatever we want. The Bible calls that idolatry, and there are severe consequences for it; the path of idolatry leads to destruction and death. However, God is infinitely gracious. He is eager to forgive, He always keeps His promises, and He even lavishes His blessings on undeserving people like you and me. Slides and notes available at www.grace-bible.org

Our Golden Calves | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 43:43

Speaker: Blake Jennings, Location: Grace Bible Church Southwood Scripture: Exodus 32, Series: Kingdom of Priests, Series Order: 07 What fool would make a statue of a calf and worship it? Turns out, it's us! We are as prone as the Israelites to try to reduce our God to an idol we can control. Let us learn from their failure and pain to turn from our golden calves and cling to the only God who Saves. Slides and notes available at www.grace-bible.org

This Is Your God | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 43:00

Speaker: Brian Fisher, Location: Grace Bible Church Anderson Scripture: Exodus 32-34, Series: Kingdom of Priests, Series Order: 07 There are many forms of idolatry, and we are all prone to one, or more, or many. Our chosen idols promise life but deliver death every time. So why are we so foolish? Because we believe the idols' lies and we want a god we can control, one who will give us what we want when we want it; in other words, a god in our own image. In God's grace, He both exposes our foolishness, forgives us and restores us when we crush our golden calves and turn from the lie to the One True God.  The Ten Commandments | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 48:54

Speaker: Matt Morton, Location: Grace Bible Church Creekside Scripture: Exodus 19-20, Series: Kingdom of Priests, Series Order: 06 God's laws are not arbitrary: They reflect His holiness and His love for His people. His commands are designed for our own good, because we are created to have a relationship with Him and to represent Him to the world. But we also have a problem: We are unable and unwilling to obey His laws. To solve that problem, we need what the law cannot provide us. We need the forgiveness and power that only Jesus can provide. Slides and notes available at www.grace-bible.org

The Ten Commandments | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 42:40

Speaker: Kevin Barra, Location: Grace Bible Church Southwood Scripture: Exodus 19-20, Series: Kingdom of Priests, Series Order: 06 Rules without relationship bring rebellion. But, a relationship without rules brings frustrations. God sets the 10 Commandments to separate a people to himself and bless their lives. However, the rules reveal our hearts.  The Ten Commandments | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 51:16

Speaker: Brian Fisher, Location: Grace Bible Church Anderson Scripture: Exodus 20, Series: Kingdom of Priests, Series Order: 06 Something deep inside us instinctively resists rules. Rules feel inherently restrictive. But God's rules are not arbitrary or capricious. God's rules are rooted in His deep love for us, and His desire for relationship with us. His rules are for our good and lead to best life possible and our greatest freedom, but we can joyfully obey only through His enablement - not through our own determination but through the power of His indwelling Spirit.  The Messy Middle | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 39:41

Speaker: Trey Corry, Location: Grace Bible Church Southwood Scripture: Exodus 15-18, Series: Kingdom of Priests, Series Order: 05 Even though we often find yourselves in the messy middle of life where the reality of life's circumstances haven't at all lived up to our initial expectations and hopes, Exodus 15-18 teaches us that God can heal our bitterness, refresh our fatigue, provide our satisfaction, overcome our adversaries, and spread our burdens. In fact, the greatest miracles of God may actually be right in the midst of the messy middle of life as He shapes and prepares us internally for what He will later do externally.  Saved by the Blood | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 42:34

Speaker: Matt Morton, Location: Grace Bible Church Creekside Scripture: Exodus 11-14, Series: Kingdom of Priests, Series Order: 04 God's final plague was the worst one: The firstborn in every Egyptian home would die, and then Pharaoh would finally let God's people go. For the Israelites, though, they could offer a perfect, spotless lamb as a substitute for their firstborn sons. When God saw the blood, He would pass over that house and they would escape God's judgment. One day, God would send another Lamb, perfect and spotless, to be offered as a substitute for our lives. And all who trust in the blood of that Lamb, God's only Son Jesus, will escape God's judgment and receive eternal life. Just as the Israelites were called to remember what God had done on Passover, we are called to remember and to stand in awe of all that God has done for us in Jesus.
