This time next week the IPCPR show will be under way in New Orleans and a lot of new brands will make their official debut. Today we discuss some of those brands. We all review the year Davidoff had which was easily the best year of any cigar company out there. We will smoke the cigar they will debut at the show, Davidoff Escurio and give you our thoughts. All this and the usual shenanigans known as The Cigar Authority.

Nestor Miranda had to do this with his son Danny Miranda who was affectionately known as Danno. To honor his memory the company release The Danno a 7 x 56 cigar that has seen various incarnations. Today while in town at a launch event for the latest version we sit down with Nestor Miranda and talk about how the company got to where it is today. We also sit down with his Son-In-Law Jason Wood and discuss the bright future of the company and the successful branding of the Nestor Miranda Collection. We also have the latest issue of Cigar Journal, Old Fart Freddy, Tweets of the Weed, Bad News Barry and so much more on the madness known as The Cigar Authority.

Jack Torano has a long and distinguished career but it starts long before the cigar industry. You see, he use to live in Chicago where he was a jingle writer, and part of the team that created the Real Men of Genius campaign for Budweiser. In 2011, he moved to Miami and reconnected with his roots working alongside family at Torano Cigars before they were sold to General Cigars with pretty much no knowledge to anyone outside of Charlie Torano. Within 3 weeks he began working for one of the best kept secrets in the Cigar industry, Roberto Duran Cigars. He joins us in studio as we discuss these great cigars and what the future of this company that can be traced back to Cuba in the 1920s. Also joining us at 1pm , will be Miguel Schoedel the Sales Director for Roberto Duran who has become famous on The Cigar Authority for the Ten Commandments of Cigar Shop shops that he penned years ago.
