The ancient Babylonian code of Hammurabi basically encouraged an 'eye for an eye' code of vengeance. Jesus said 'Father, forgive them...' The cross marks a new era of forgiveness and new relationship with God.
Love is the context for supernatural ministry. For those is Jesus, both are non-negotiable! David looks at the foundation of love from 1 John 4 and 1 Corinthians 13.
DaySpring is invited to enter a fresh place of 'notoriety' where God's anointing increases the prophetic voice of the church. David replays the prophetic word given by Shawn Bolz.
Shawn Bolz is senior pastor Expressions58 in Los Angeles California. Shawn’s passion is to influence Christians to take on their journey of intimacy with God wholeheartedly. Today he shares on how the favour of God sets His people apart on the Earth.
The book of Hebrews is adamant that Jesus is far superior to the Law to draw us closer to God. Whilesoever Law (or the Temple) stands, access to God is blocked. Only through Jesus is there a genuine and hopeful entering into God’s wonderful presence.
The writer of Hebrews encourages us to persevere and get rid of the things that would hinder us, but what happens when the unexpected, delays and hindrances seem to persist and waylay?
The Father's heart has always been for redemption and in the story of Jonah we see a dramatic, but consistent to His character, demonstration of His kindness and grace.
If the attitude of gratitude to God can change what has been devoted to idols to a gift from God, shouldn’t our choice to be thankful be a spiritual power for good changing the enemy’s design into something that gives us a victory totally glorifying God?
The New Testament is radically clear about God's new government that came in when Jesus was crucified and raised from the dead. Jesus is now the only way to be righteous before God. Nothing else works.
Jesus really is the only way. Any additional system used to be righteous, including Law, is sin (Heb 10). Grace is actually good, empowering, news.
Vision cannot come without first knowing our identity in God. Our Mission is shaped by Jesus' own mission which was simply articulated when He called His disciples by saying “Come and see!”
This year there is an invitation to press in for the joy Jesus promised would be ours, complete and to full measure, not just a one-off experience but living, strengthened by His joy.
It takes a healthy partnership with God (Father, Jesus, & and Holy Spirit), to journey well into our futures. God does want us to be free and fruitful. Be full of His Spirit.
Releasing the aroma of God is - and needs more to be - a normal part of daily life.
Finding the silver lining. God is always at work. God does not will all things, but he is at work in all things. Paul encourages believers to give thanks “ in all circumstances,” not for them (1 Thess. 5:18).
