The Amazing Chris Guenzler took many trips during this period of his life, Trips over the Tehachapi Loop, Trips on the Arizona Eastern, Branson Scenic, North Arkansas & Eureka Springs, and Arkansas & Missouri. CNW Historical Society Trips weere taken as was a UP to Yoder. He went to the Colorado RR Museum 50th Birthday Bash and did many tourist lines in Colorado. Trainfestival 2009 was dome and then the Big Trip to Wisconsin to ride tourist trains there before the NRHS Duluth Convention. Trips to El Paso, La Plata to go to the 2009 Old Threshers Reunion and Albuquerque plus much more were done on this show.
It's been 20 years since the GCR returned. They are celebrating with a Steam run to the Canyon. Phoenix Phoamer Gene will host the show on location and long-time listener Mike Roque will co-host. Special guests Al Richmond and Marc Pearsall, both affiliated with the GCR, will tell us about the long and varied history of the rails to the rim of one of the seven natural wonders of the world.
