Welcome to episode 41 of This Xbox Life Podcast! This week we were attacked by technical difficulties that would have caused us to lose part of the show, but we were able to use our backup. We were nervous becasue we didn't want you to miss out on our E3 predictions. How will we do? I guess we only have 1 day to wait and find out. Other than the E3 talk, Wingman709 has a little issue with Bad Company (or multiplayer in general), presar throws out some large numbers about Xbox sales, and to close out the show we hit the VIP section. Enjoy the show!

 Episode 37 | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 1:36:35

It was an interesting show this week! We watched our site crash before our eyes as we were recording. Even with our site displaying an error messaged we continued with the show. This week we had a small discussion about Konami ditching Six Days in Fallujah, our thoughts on Batman Arkham Asylum, Gamerscore reset for the cheaters, and 1 vs. 100 details. Another discussion topic was about loosing interest in gaming or getting burnt out with games. Before we hit the VIP section, Kyle hit the latest announcements from Ubisoft. The VIP section this week was 8 deep and packed with great questions. Sit back and enjoy the show!

 Episode 36 | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 1:54:48

It's just Kyle and Wingman this week but that did not keep us from talking.  We went almost two hours this week and half of it is due to the large amount of voicemails and questions we got.  WooHoo we loved it. Before we announce the winner of our contest, we discuss the games that we have been playing this week.  Once again Wingman brings Peggle into the discussion and Kyle rips on WWII games.  We then discuss if Harmonix is going to run Rock Band into the ground like Activision is doing with Guitar Hero.  Kyle gets excited about new DLC for Halo Wars while Wingman complains about Multiplayer RTS games and Microsoft's lame TruSkill matching. Wingman continues his complaining in regards to paying for another Battlefield game that he already played 5 years ago while Kyle says he will pay more money to Microsoft if he can be a VIP.

 Episode 35 | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 1:01:52

This week we get back to our original goal of 1 hour (sorry to those that like the long shows). We breeze through some site announcements (you might want to listen to it this time, we got some good stuff on the way!) as well as what we have been playing. Wing gets some hard achievements in musical games, and moroniccow has a 30,000 point Halo Wars 2v2. This week we talk about Gamestop selling used copies as new, Microsoft extending the 3-year warranty to E74 issues, Madden retiring, and more. We have two more entries in the contest for 13 months of Xbox Live Gold. Do not forget to get your submission in by Thursday April 23, 2009 at 9:00 pm central. Remember, you just have to submit a tokbox with your gamertag and if you got a question, we will do our best to answer it! Until next week!

 Episode 34 | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 1:40:21

We hit it fast and hard this week by starting out with our most recent gaming experiances.  Well, those of us that have played our Xbox that is.  You will have to be the judge if cellphone game counts or not. Brun launches our first story with a promised discussion of MMO's coming to Xbox which Major Spork asked about last week.  Then Mark asks if its wrong to make a realistic video game about a war that is still going on.  Kyle touches base with the controversial Resident Evil 5 DLC and then Rob wants to know if the rising price of Xbox Live Arcade games are worth the cost of admission.  We finish off our stories with the cool news of Amazon now selling Arcade games and if we really want more retro titles like Outrun.  VIP is up next and we have five voicemails via TokBox this week.  So get to downloading and enjoy this weeks show.  Don't forget to get your TokBox entries in before Episode 36 to be eligilbe to win 13 months of Xbox Live Gold.

 Episode 33 | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 1:25:32

This week wingman shares his experience with the broken multiplayer in GH: Metallica, Kyle notices the gaming drought, and we have a review from one of our listeners. We have large VIP section this week and before we called it a night we announced the winner of our contest. Did I mention the new contest??? Enjoy the show!

 Episode 32 | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 1:44:50

Hello everyone and welcome back to This Xbox Life. This week we start off with a pretty long discussion about what we have been playing this week. Needless to say there were some serious opinions about some games. Then Wingman709 talks about his brilliant idea of renting games from GameFly via the Xbox 360. Seriously, I hope someone from Microsoft and GameFly are working on this. Next we talk about a possible Party bug. We really don't know if it is a bug or if its just moroniccow causing all the problems. So be sure to send us a TokBox or email and let us know if you have experianced the same problem we discuss in the show. We then talk about the fact that we will not be "Called to Duty" this year, but we do think we will be required to rid an airport of some terrorists. We follow that by another paradoy song from Pallet Swap Ninja and then we hit the big topic of OnLive. Will it really kill PC and console gaming, or is it just another pipedream? We wrap up with some voicemails and then its off to play video games or get some sleep. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the silky smooth sounds of This Xbox Life.

 Episode 31 | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 1:35:53

After losing our 90 minute show last week, we re-recorded it this week with some changes and it turned out to be another 90 minutes long. This week we dive into our game giveaway and what we have been playing. Maybe based on what we have been playing lately we can figure out what happened to last weeks extra 90 minutes....I think it got infected. We play a song from Palette Swap Ninja that is in honor to moroniccow and Wingman709. Then its off to our topics of the week. We start off by sharing some tips on how to game on a budget. Then its Resident Evil Time as we talk about paying for DLC and if the game is all about racism or not. We cover EA's price gouging for their new Arcade title Hasbro Family Game Night and then we have a quick discussion about the future of split screen gaming. We have a good number of questions and comments from our VIP's and then we finally stop talking so that we can get back to Resident Evil 5. So tune in!

 Episode 30 - gamerDNA | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 1:00:41

Listen and enjoy while Wingman709 and bjswick33 sit down for an hour long interview with Trapper and Stephen from GamerDNA.com!

 Episode 29 | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 1:56:02

Episode 29 is our longest show to date! I started it off with some SF IV info, a typical Halo 3 story, and we all go into our impressions (except Zob) on Halo Wars.  Some other games mentioned in this weeks show are: Rock Band: The Beatles, Wanted, Wheelman, and Rob talks a little about a non Xbox game, but you will need to listen to the show for that!  Some other topics include companies joining in on the used game market, a Microsoft handheld, and our weekly VIP. Enjoy!
