A new week begins and we have an epic show for you today, here on World Football Daily. We at WFD would like to congratulate the Colorado Rapids for winning their first ever MLS Cup, as they defeated FC Dallas 2-1 AET at BMO Field in Toronto last night. In Europe, Chelsea continue to struggle as they were defeated for the second straight game in the Premier League (first time since 2006), allowing Manchester United, after their 2-0 win over Wigan, to move into a joint spot on points at the top of the league table. Tottenham roared back after trailing 2-0 to win 3-2 at the Emirates in a highly entertaining North London Derby. Barcelona continue to roll as they defeated Almeria by an 8-0 score and Real Madrid defeated Athletic Bilbao 5-1 to stay top of La Liga, setting us up for next Monday's El Clasico. Milan were able to extend their lead at the top of Serie A with their victory and Lazio's draw. Steven only today and he will give his thoughts on the MLS Cup final and touch on all the action from an exciting weekend in football, and preview Champions League action which returns tomorrow. Many guests to bring you today. We start with Kyle McCarthy of goal.com to give us his thoughts on the MLS Cup final and what it means for a club like Colorado to finally win their first title. We are pleased to welcome Robbie Rogers, Midfielder, Columbus Crew, to the show to discuss his team's MLS season, they were defeated by Colorado in a penalty shootout in round 1 of the MLS playoffs, and his experience playing in South Africa last week. We are pleased to welcome Steve Banyard to the show for the very first time. Steve is an English football commentator, and he will give us his thoughts on all things English football. Matthew Barker, Italian correspondent, will join us for a quick look at all things Italy. Graham Hunter will join the show once again to discuss the two big teams in La Liga, review the Spanish football weekend, and tell us what he thinks we will all see in El Clasico. Thursday has begun here at World Football Daily and we have a whole load of guests for you today. The USMNT, with a squad that has never played together and full of youngsters, defeated their hosts, South Africa, yesterday 1-0 thanks to a goal by 17-year-old, Juan Agudelo. Agudelo became the youngest player ever to score a goal at the senior level for the USMNT. England saw defeat yesterday as they fell 2-1 to France, a brilliant stoppage time goal by Lionel Messi saw Argentina defeat Brazil 1-0 in Doha, Qatar, and World Cup champions Spain were painfully beaten 4-0 by an inspired Portuguese side. Chivas USA forward Justin Braun will join the show to discuss the disappointing season his goats had, what they plan to do rebuild his squad, and give his take on the MLS Cup final. Alex Labidou, from goal.com, will join us for a preview on the MLS Cup final, and give us his thoughts on the USA game yesterday and of Juan Agudelo. Carlo Garganese, from goal.com, will join us to discuss the Azzuri and preview the Serie A weekend. Schellas Hyndman, Manager of FC Dallas, will join the show ahead of his side's match against Colorado in the MLS Cup final. Jack Jewsbury, from the now Sporting KC, will join the show to talk about the name change in Kansas City and also give his take on the MLS Cup final.
