Anthony Kastros is a 25-year veteran of the fire service. He is a line Battalion Chief with the Sacramento (CA) Metro Fire District, and serves as the Command Training Center program manager. He is author of the Fire Engineering DVD series Mastering Fireground Command: Calm the Chaos! and the Fire Engineering book and video series Mastering the Fire Service Assessment Center, which focuses on tactics and leadership. Chief Kastros is an FDIC instructor, teaching fireground command/tactics and leadership/team building for fire departments throughout the United States. He spent four seasons on a Type 1 incident management team, and ten years as a FEMA USAR Task Force Manager, deploying to New York on 9/11. Ed Hadfield, has over 26 years of fire service experience, rising through the ranks from Firefighter to Division Chief. He is a frequent speaker on leadership, sharing his experiences within the fire service and also with corporate and civic leaders throughout the United States. Ed is well known for the creation and instructional delivery of Company Officer Development Programs that have raised the bar of professionalism in today's fire service ranks.
