With the new move of Musica Pagani to the Pagan-Musings Podcast channel, we are giving you a sneak peak at the show by recasting last year's Brigid's Day Celebration. With the help of Lady Rhi and special permission from Isaac Bonewits, RevKess was able to put together a ritual sound track for Imbolc 2010. Enjoy the show!

Pagan-Musings is moving their two hour show after this week. The show will be available on Ustreeam.tv starting February 5th. There will be a half hour teaser show on BTR each week with instructions on how to access the show on Ustream. Your hosts hope to see you all joining them on Ustream. In the meantime, this weeks episode will be a discussion of the future plans for Pagan-Musings, Musica Pagani and other projects that RevKess and KaliSara are involved in. There will also be tidbits of information on astrology, tarot and other topics for your listening pleasure. And, as always, music!

We are roasting Sarah for her birthday. Author Barbara Moore was supposed to be joining us today, but issues on our end encouraged her to make other plans for this afternoon. We are hoping to reschedule for sometime in the near future.

It is the new year, by most of our calendars. So we though it would be a wonderful opportunity for our listeners and for ourselves to share some of what we have accomplished in the last year and some of what we are planning for this new year.

Join RevKess and KaliSara as they talk about astrology and how it really works for the modern Pagan. KaliSara is a professional astrologer. What that means is that she has a vast amount of knowledge and has put it to use in doing charts for individuals as well as writing articles and sharing what she knows with others. RevKess knows almost nothing about the topic, but he is always willing to listen and hopes that you are too. Winter is upon us and it time to turn within for reflection and meditation on those things which we have completed in this turning of the wheel. The time for this began at Samhain and continues through till Imbolc. As the winter holidays are nearly upon us and Thanksgiving has been and gone, we should be taking one last deep look at who and what we are today. Is there something that you would like to change? Is there something that are saddened at losing? Is there something that you gladdened at having gained? All of these and more are questions to think upon during the dark of the year. It is also a time to begin planning for those things we wish to accomplish in the seasons to come. Though we may not plant the seeds until the first thaw, we can cultivate them in our hearts and minds and landscape our future when the world is dark and cold. Join your hosts, RevKess and KaliSara, as they given you some landmarks to watch for on this stage of your journey on your own personal magickal and spiritual path.

RevKess and KaliSara have participated in this year's NaNoWriMo and will be talking about their inspirations, struggles, successes and whether or not they won the competition. Remember, winning means that you reach the minimum goal of 50K words. It is a time of thanksgiving in the United States. The holiday of Thanksgiving has just passed and this week KaliSara and RevKess would like to share their thanks for many things in their lives. They are also going to open the phones lines up to listeners to share some of what they are thankful for. So, let us give thanks this week for all those wonderful things that have come into our lives.

Ancient rites of passage, tribal markings, NeoPagan image reflection. Throughout history people have do something to change their physical appearance to reflect some aspect of who and what they are. Tattoos, piercings, scarification, and many other forms of body modification are all examples of how someone can change body to show some deeper part of themselves. Your hosts will discuss many of these and how they relate to magick and living a magickal lifestyle. Both of them have gone through one or more of these modifications and will share why they did what they did.

Join RevKess and KaliSara as they visit this topic for a second time. This time they will go into some of the hows and whats of Kitchen Witchery. They will share recipes (spells?) and other techniques for kitchen magick.

We have discussed finding the reality in fiction, now it is time to address the more narrow (or is that broad?) topic of finding inspiration in fiction. The Pagan community has often found inspiration in what many consider fiction. Marion Zimmer Bradley, Diana L. Paxon, Gerald Gardner, and Dion Fortune (to name a few) have all published works over the last century that have were fiction but addressed the Pagan movement. Join RevKess and KaliSara as they talk about some of the books that have inspired them in their paths and in their own writing. This show airs just under one week into the 2010 NaNoWriMo competition. Both of your hosts are participating in this competition this year and are drawing on some of the inspiration from these and many other authors. They invite the listener to call in during the live show and share some of their favorite inspirational novels and other sources of fiction. With RevKess out of town, KaliSara is going to host a musical celebration of Samhain. Music from artists like Leigh Ann Hussey, Dale Bacon, Gaia Consort and Dead Poets Orchestra. RevKess may be calling in from his Clan Samhain celebration in Denver to share some of the fun of celebrating a Sabbat with a chosen family.

This year, KaliSara and RevKess bring you an early Samhain celebration. RevKess is going to be out of town on the 30th and will not be in control of the boards for that date, so they figured it would be fun to bring you an earlier celebration with music, stories, and trivia for Samhain. Join them this week as they share some of their own experiences with the season and some fun music appropriate to the season.
