Episode 308: Traders Podcast Flashback — Why We Trade | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 24:26

Welcome to Episode 308 of The Traders Podcast. In the previous show, your host Rob Booker and Jason the producer talked about occasionally revisiting some of the more noteworthy conversations of the 300-plus episodes of The Traders Podcast. So, what you’re about to hear is a re-release of Episode 40, which originally aired on April 25, 2012. The title of that episode is “Where and Why We Trade for a Living.” In that particular episode, Rob was joined by The Coach Scott Welsh, who talked about goal-setting. They also discussed whether the location you trade from affects your trading, and whether you can actually trade from anywhere in the world. Episode 40 also introduced a new segment called “Dumb Things That Rob Does...” But the main reason Jason the producer felt Episode 040 is one for the ages is because of a remarkable epilogue that Rob delivers, where he describes all the reasons why we trade. It may very well be some of the most powerful content in the history of The Traders Podcast — a must-listen. Flashback with us! As before, this episode is still dedicated to Mickey, who successfully did what he always wanted to do.  Episode 307: Horses, Scalping and Other Western Motifs | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 23:17

In Episode 307 of The Traders Podcast, your host Rob Booker and Jason the producer read a comment from TraderSchizz, who has had some difficulty with trades immediately going the other way upon entering them (just as was discussed in Episode 305). And Rob also answers a question from Nathan in Canada, who asked about scalping. Join us! And thanks for listening! Don't forget to check out our brand new show, the RISE AND SHINE PODCAST.  Episode 263: The Trade Size That a Professional Trader Should Take | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 9:09

For Episode 263, your host Rob Booker is solo-broadcasting from Paris, France. In this show Rob uses a set of articles that he's been writing for Experts.ForexMagnates.com about cutting losses quickly as a launching point for his sentiments. Rob suggests that perhaps the practice of cutting losses quickly isn't the Gospel truth that we've been told it is, and he says it's often blasphemous to say so. Rob talks about a friend of his who made $21,000 trading a counter-trend system. Then Rob discusses another friend who made $8,000, and he did not close all of his losing trades immediately. So, Rob gives some tips on how to trade in a different way, other than closing losing trades immediately. And Rob tells what he thinks makes a person "a professional trader," including the specific trade size that a pro should take. Good stuff. Don't miss it!
