Wait, What? show

Wait, What?

Summary: Ostensibly about comic books and graphic novels, "Wait, What?" is a podcast in which two friends swap stories, theories, and jokes about all aspects of pop culture...but especially comics. For our early episodes, our theme music is Track 18 from Nine Inch Nails' wonderful ambient album Ghosts, which Trent Reznor graciously made available under a Creative Commons BY-NC-SA license. But for some time now, it has been an original composition by our very own Graeme McMillan: this update is overdue!

 Baxter Building, Episode 16 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:30:14

Welcome back to Baxter Building, the podcast reading through the first 416 issues of the Fantastic Four! Today, Graeme McMillan and Jeff Lester ponder issues 126-133 of the Fantastic Four, by John Buscema, Joe Sinnott, Roy Thomas, Gerry Conway, Ross Andru, and Ramona Fradon. Roy Thomas brings us three mini-epics featuring the Inhumans, the Frightful Four, and just about anyone with an underground kingdom, as well as the terrors of his post-marital psyche with the split between Reed and Sue, Johnny and Crystal, and the introduction of the woman called Thundra! And we are here to partially hide our eyes at all of it! Show notes eagerly await you at waitwhatpodcast.com, we welcome your comments and questions at WaitWhatPodcast@gmail.com, and we invite you to look out for us on Twitter, Tumblr, and Patreon!

 Wait, What? Episode 198.5 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:14:40

Today, we have a very special episode of the podcast for you—an unscheduled minisode preempting Baxter Building Episode 16  so that Graeme and Jeff can talk about the firing of Shelly Bond from Vertigo and the reaction on the Internet including the identity of a serial sexual harasser at DC.   It is a mostly serious discussion from two traditionally non-serious dudes so we hope that we do not make a hash of it, and that you join us for this hour long conversation.   Baxter Building 16 is postponed for only a few days. Very brief show notes for this minisode are available at waitwhatpodcast.com, we welcome your comments and questions at WaitWhatPodcast@gmail.com, and we invite you to look out for us on Twitter, Tumblr, and Patreon!
