Dogglounge Deep House Radio

Thanks so much to all the listeners and loungers for the support. Some lights in the middle of the darkness to keep you travel in mind.

Recording of set played live here at the station on 2019 Sept 15. I did about 10 minutes of preparation for this set. So, I don’t know if there is a “center” to the theme / sound. It’s just what I could find in the moment that felt like it would go with whatever was playing at that moment.  This is a harder job than you think when your kit is 7,000 songs, and you don’t want to repeat things on the station too-often. Recording of live set broadcast 2019-09-08 here at the station. Thanks to all the listeners, and especially those who come into the station chat room during a Sunday evening/night. This started out as a bunch of songs I knew (vs. a bunch of new tracks), all in the “center” of Dogglounge deep/house. In the last 30 minutes, though, I started feeling like a party. So, it gets a bit more Ibiza-boat-dance-party in the last bit. Interesting how the audience dropped by 15% pretty quickly once I switched – then built back up beyond the start.  Looks like it was a case of audience changeout – people who wanted Deep House dropping off, and people who were ok with more bumpin’ stuff staying when came to listen. Live set recorded 2019-08-25 here at the station. Thanks to all the listeners in chat! “NEOS” = Near End Of Summer. I’m watching my social media feed and seeing the various “closing” announcements from clubs in Ibiza (where “closing” means closing for the season). That means it’s … NEOS. Not QUITE done yet, but .. too-soon, IMO. Lots of new stuff (to me) in this set.   So much thanks for all the beauty, the love, the feelings, the good and bad moments, for all that things in my life that make me as I am, and so much thanks to Heavens to let me see clearly the soul of the people.
