 9.27 - The Last Refuge of a Scoundrel | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:57:52

Sam Roscoe is back to preside over Gaz and Richard Burns from Yahoo Sports, as the panel look back over two routine Manchester City wins. In the week where City's performances have been top notch, it's unfortunate that the officiating and the tough challenges that have been flying in on their players have hit the headlines - we're looking at how there has been a raft more of red-card-worthy tackles that have all been leniently punished. Would VAR have solved the issues? We're looking at the improvement in Raheem Sterling and at how Kevin De Bruyne continues to raise the bar week-on-week to the point that nobody is noticing that he's consistently brilliant. After Bernardo Silva's thunderbolt was disallowed at Cardiff, David Mooney is looking at some of City's more memorable goals that never were, while Howard Hockin takes on the internet trolls who like to comment on any club's size compared to others. We look at the transfer window and assess how well City have done in their business this January.

What did Martin Tyler mean by "payback"? We try to provide some answers. Speaking of situations that need clearing up, Sam Lee from Goal.com gives us the reasons why the Alexis Sanchez deal fell through and we give our reaction to the news, while we also look ahead to games with Newcastle and Bristol City.
