 FLOSS Weekly 398: ClusterHQ | File Type: video/mp4 | Duration: 1:18:22

At ClusterHQ, we describe ourselves as The Container Data People™. We believe that support for databases and other stateful services across the entire application life-cycle is a major missing piece of the puzzle for containers and Docker. Without the ability to easily and securely create and share copies of production data, development teams can't fully test their applications before moving to production. Without support for data migration, high availability and disaster recovery, containers can't easily capture the entire application (including databases, queues, and key-value stores) in production in a way that ops can manage. Why should the heart of most applications live outside the container? Download or subscribe to this show at https://twit.tv/shows/floss-weekly Here's what's coming up for FLOSS in the future.
