A couple of show notes: The background music at the Studios made it difficult to edit without introducing clicks and drops in the audio. Toontown is one of the rare signifcant Disneyland attractions that started out in Walt Disney World before migrating west. But the need for a character-centric land dates back to Disneyland's first decade. Jim tells how Disney first identified the need for characters, how Toontown first got built, and the great, un-filmed idea Disney had for launching Toontown in Disneyland.
