Many times we come to God with our petitions and needs. But the very thing thing that can help us is to first give God thanks. Thankfulness can provide what you don't have and even more! Be thankful for what He will do! John 2, 11; Matthew 15
Why do we praise God? God is all powerful, but He is also as close as the mention of His name. He can heal a broken heart, help and provide for us, and give us love we need so much. He is so worthy of praise every day. Psalm 147:1-5
God is interested in every decision in our lives. Every day we are presented with a number of decisions. In 2014, let's ask God to direct our paths. Let's learn from David and seek God's will. 1 Sam 23

Many times we crowd Jesus out of our lives by the things surrounding us. It's easy to get distracted during the holidays, but the real reason for Christmas is to celebrate the birth of a savior and the gift He has given us. Matthew 2
Just as the Wise Men gave three gifts to Jesus, we can give three gifts today. We need to give Jesus our past, our future and most important, we need to give him our today. Matthew 2:1-12

Man looks at the outer appearance, but the Lord sees the heart and gives us purpose. Though we may not appear to be qualified, God has a plan for your life and will equip you for His purpose. Trust Him to work in your life. 1 Samuel 8:19-9:2; 16:1-3
God lead Luke to record Paul's travels and movements in precise detail. Paul was sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit as to where he should go. One of Paul's accomplishments was to encourage believers in their faith. Acts 18:18-23
Sometimes unanswered prayer can actually be God's mercy toward us. Even in our most painful moments, God still wants us to hear His voice. His voice is not a voice of fear, but of peace. 1 Kings 19
It is the Lord alone that should direct our paths. Even when times of trouble come, let's look to Jesus who will guide us toward His will for our lives. Trust Him today! Acts 18:1-11
