I continue knitting my Comfort Fade Cardi by Andrea Mowry. I started a wonderful lace shawl, Reiko, by Melanie Berg, published by Quince & Co in Shawls 4. My husband joins me for Nature Notes with some talk of our spring sightings and his love of roses.

Spring in central Illinois is almost here...and very late. I have been crafting for a new little one in our family--a great nephew! I finished 2 sweaters, a quilt, 2 hats for him, and a matching hat for the daddy-to-be.

I made two Sleepy Kitten Sets by Susan B Anderson from Making #4. I also sewed the Cat Basket by Sanae Ishida. Mae by Melissa LaBarre is one of my favorite cardi’s for baby girls. This one is in Quince & Co Chickadee in the Rosa Rugosa colorway. Registration is open for Knitting Pipeline Retreat Feb 16-17 in Washington IL and Knitting Pipeline Georgia March 25-18.
Registration materials are available for the Knitting Pipeline Retreat outside of Atlanta GA March 25-28, 2018. I finished my Gigi by Devin Ventre using a kit from Barrett Wool Co. It might be one of my favorite sweaters ever. I also talk about knitting pockets and the Knitting Pipeline Eagle Crest Retreat that was held last week.
