Healing from Disappointment | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 21:20

Welcome to The Meditation Podcast, with Jesse and Jeane Stern. Episode 39, Healing from Disappointment. Find us at Patreon dot com slash The Meditation Podcast. Every day, we depend on others — family, friends, jobs, governments — to meet our needs ranging from basic survival, emotional well being, and fulfillment. When a person or organization does not meet our needs, breaks their word, or otherwise fails to live up to our expectations, we naturally become disappointed, hurt, angry, or mistrustful. In today's meditation, we heal this disappointment. This is an essential first step in reclaiming our own power, so that we can move clearly and positively through our lives. Remember that this podcast uses sound technology that affects the brain, so please use headphones and do not use this podcast while driving or operating machinery. Welcome to The Meditation Podcast with Jesse and Jeane Stern. Episode 38, Centered and Balanced for the Holidays. If you feel that you have benefitted from this podcast, consider making a donation at our web site, theMeditationPodcast.com. Winter - and the winter holidays - can be a stressful time. We break our routines, we travel, our diet changes. On top of all that, we spend a lot time with people with whom we may have "history", but who are not part of our daily lives. We expect ourselves to celebrate, to give gifts, to feel happy. But sometimes our high expectations can lead to mood swings, conflict, or meltdown. In today's meditation, we allow ourselves a moment to pause from the manic holidays.  Wall of Peace | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 21:07

Every day, circumstances outside of our control threaten our inner peace. We may receive a shocking piece of news, have an unfriendly confrontation, or simply feel anxiety over some nagging event in our lives. In today's meditation, we build a Wall of Peace around our inner world. This reminds us that our external situations remain outside us, and that we always have the power to choose our natural state of peace and contentment. Remember that this podcast uses sound technology that affects the brain, so please use headphones and do not use this podcast while driving or operating machinery. At times, we may wander from our true path in life. We may have trouble making important decisions, become bored with our current job, or simply wish to live more gracefully in the world.  Need and Transformation | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 26:16

We all know someone who needs help, whether in health, money, family, love, career, or in some other area of life. We all know someone who has become stuck in their need, and have not been able to reach their full potential on their own. We have needs as a people, as a culture, and as a world. In today's meditation, we transform a need for someone else, using the power of our own breath and expansion. By transforming need into fulfillment, we turn the energies of stagnation into creativity, resentment into joy, sickness into health, and fear into love. By focusing on needs outside of our own, we increase our power to heal ourselves and the world. This podcast uses audio technology that affects the brain, so please use headphones and do not use this podcast while driving or operating machinery.  29 - Light of Prosperity and Abundance | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 25:56

Welcome to The Meditation Podcast with Jesse and Jeane Stern. Episode 29, Light of Prosperity and Abundance. As we start the new year, many of us set goals and resolutions for prosperity and abundance. Prosperity can mean succeeding at and enjoying one's job or business, receiving gifts, earning dividends or royalties, or simply having a lifestyle that meets one's needs. Abundance can take the form of money, having plenty of food to eat, a wealth of friends and family, or a warm bed to sleep in. We often carry habits and mental patterns from our past experiences that block our own prosperity and abundance. "I'll never succeed." "I don't deserve this." "I have to work hard just to get by." Do any of these sound familiar to you? It is these deeply rooted negative beliefs and ingratitude that can prevent us from receiving what the Universe has available to us. In today's meditation, we use light visualization to transform our beliefs about prosperity and abundance, and increase our spiritual vibration to attract prosperous and abundant lives.  28 - Emotional Clearing | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 26:40

Welcome to The Meditation Podcast, with Jesse and Jeane Stern. Episode 28, Emotional Clearing. In our polite modern society, we don't always express our emotions freely. By blocking or suppressing emotions, we may cause them to surface in inappropriate or disproportionate ways. Thus, a small frustration may eventually feel hopeless, or we may project hostility onto strangers. These blocked emotions can turn into confusion, fear, physical tension, and more. Thus, it's very important to clear our emotions, so that we can express ourselves in healthy ways -- within our own selves, to our friends and loved ones, and in our daily lives. Use this meditation anytime you feel overwhelmed, stuck or frustrated. These feelings are often a sign of blocked emotions. As you intentionally release these stuck feelings in meditation, you may find them replaced by a fresh sense of clarity, calm and purpose. As always, this podcast uses special audio technology that affects the brain, so please use headphones, and do not use this podcast while driving or operating machinery.  27 - Reiki Treatment | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 32:47

Welcome to The Meditation Podcast, with Jesse and Jeane Stern. Episode 27, Reiki Treatment. Reiki means "universal life force". It is a mode of healing often performed as healing touch, or laying on hands. However, Reiki can also be done at a distance. The practitioner allows the Reiki energy to flow through his or her hands, and into the recipient. Often, the recipient feels physical heat, relaxation of the breath, and the experience of unconditional love. The philosophy of Reiki is that all ailments are rooted in the spirit. By sending healing energy through the body to the spirit, the entire "self" realigns toward its natural state of perfection. Jesse is a reiki practitioner at the level commonly called "master/teacher". In today's meditation, just relax and allow yourself to receive an infusion of universal life force. As always, this podcast uses audio technology that affects the brain, so please use headphones, and do not use this podcast while driving or operating machinery.  26 - Gratitude | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 20:06

Welcome to The Meditation Podcast, with Jesse and Jeane Stern. This is Episode twenty-six, Gratitude. Our modern world is full of opportunities to wish our lives were different. We may have a job or relationship that we feel isn't quite the way we'd like. We may be striving for a bigger TV, a bigger home, the latest phone, or a newer car. We may compare ourselves to our friends, wishing we had what's theirs, or wishing we get to do what they do. However, these feelings of envy and want tend to suppress our own good. In today's meditation, we simply give thanks for who we are, for where we are, for what we have, for our successes, and for the success of our friends and loved ones. This basic impression of feeling thankful can not only help us free ourselves from the stress of ambition, the agony of want; it can also create a very powerful cycle of gratitude: when we are thankful, we find more reasons to be thankful, and we find more good in our lives. As always, this podcast uses special audio technology that effects the brain, so please use headphones, and do not use this podcast while driving or operating machinery.  Twenty-five - Transformational Breathing | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 23:20

Welcome to The Meditation Podcast, with Jesse and Jeane Stern. This is Episode Twenty-five, Transformational Breathing. The simple act of breathing has tremendous power. Although it is an involuntary bodily function (we continue to breathe while unconscious, for example), it is at the same time a function that we can regulate - by holding, lengthening or shortening the breath, or choosing to breathe through the nose or mouth. By regulating the breath in specific ways, we can access deep reserves of power within the body, mind and spirit. In today's meditation, we practice a simple exercise, based on Chinese and Russian martial arts, that is designed to release physical tension and blocked emotions. Breathing freely, as in this exercise, can lead us naturally to better posture, a positive outlook on life, and a clear state of mind. As always, this podcast uses special audio technology that affects the brain, so please use headphones, and do not use this podcast while driving or operating machinery.  Twenty-four - Envision Your Life | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 26:00

Welcome to The Meditation Podcast, with Jesse and Jeane Stern. This is Episode Twenty-four, Envision Your Life. Why do some life goals fail, while others succeed? Are we forced to give up one part of our lives to achieve another? When we receive our good, are we taking it away from someone else? In today's meditation we will choose a life goal, and imagine it succeeding in the highest and best possible way. This means that you attain your goal - even beyond what you hoped or imagined - and that everyone involved benefits. Welcome to The Meditation Podcast, Episode 23 - Grief. We want to start out by wishing everyone a happy New Year. We know that this year will be the start of wonderful possibilities in all of your lives. In order to start fresh, it is beneficial to release the past. Today's meditation is about releasing grief. Grief can occur in the loss of a loved one, the ending of a relationship, loss of a job, or loss of a home; and its effects can linger long after the loss itself.  Twenty-one - The Unknown : Fear, Risk, Failure and Success | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 23:15

Have you ever wanted to acheive something, but chosen not to try because you were afraid of failure? Taking a risk means inviting a change into our lives. Success may mean satisfaction or reward, but it can also lead us into life's uncharted territory: the Unknown. On the other hand, failure may mean disappointment or shame, but it may also allow us to stay in life's comfort zone. The Unknown can be a terrifying place, and if our subconscious is not prepared, we may block our own success, without even realizing it! In today's meditation, we'll seek a new perspective on a past failure. Next, we'll imagine a risk, and create a mental "What if I Win" map for the Unknown.
